Please Don't Give Up!!!
I have learnt from speaking to people from all over the world, that irrigation takes a long time for our bodies to repsond to.

For some of us it will always be an everday thing to fit in if we want to manage our bodies in this way.

For others after 6 months or so, it can be every 36 to 48 hours. So far, a year after my operation, I have just managed to go 48 hours twice, hopefully I will be able to keep it up.

My colostomy has given me my health back, but irrigating has given me my life back.

For me the daily irrigation time is well worth it. I use this time to chill out, for time to think, to plan my next day, and even for prayer time (I'm sure God doesn't mind or care what I'm doing, for those who feel shocked at that).
