This Stephen King book is animated, and a book that kids could enjoy reading. It will remind it's readers of the old 'Tales from the Crypt' and 'The Haunt of Fear' comic books. It may even remind some readers of the old 'The Twilight Zone' episodes. It is basically just a comic book with stories to send shivers up your spine. There was also a movie about this book. The stories include Father's Day, The Lonesome Death Of Jordy Verrill, The Crate, Something To Tide You Over, and They're Creeping Up On You. You will be surprised at the scares that come from this some-what child like book.
I have not read this comic book, but have seen the movie. Which I have to admit I loved. I especially loved the story that starred Stephen King in it. He makes such a great hillbilly .
