This audio collection features three short stories (two of which have never been available before in any form), all of which inclued that most popular American vice : smoking.  In "1408", a bestselling author of true ghost stories faces the ulitmate challenge, spend a night in New York City's most haunted hotel room - and live to write about it.  In "In The Deathroom" a man held captive in Sth America hideout discovers that smoking isn't always hazardous to your health.  "Lunch At The Gotham Cafe" tells the story of a man going through intensely painful withdrawal, from both nicotine and the wife who just left hime.  He's hoping for a reconciliation, but his desperation comes to a head on the day he is to meet his soon-to-be ex and her lawyer for lunch at a trendy Manhattan restaurant.

I, unfortunately, have not had the pleasure of listening to these audio stories.
