Released in 1990 from the novel Misery that was published in 1987 Director : Rob Reiner Starring : Cathy Bates, James Caan Synopsis : The tale of a number 1 fan that goes a little too far.  A writer is in a car accident and rescued by his number 1 fan, but little does he realise that there is more writing to be had. Run time : 104 mins Available on DVD,VHS My Opinion : I thought this movie was really well done.  It is very much like the book.  I cringe every time I see the hobbling scene.
