My Opinion : I enjoyed the movie but have to admit I like the story in the book much better, and the reason was that my imagination was a hell of a lot better than the rats that were invented for this movie.  Athought the acting and the set design were great, the effects in regards to the rats (especially the big one) really didn't do anything for me.
