HARRY CRAWLEY IS DEAN MARTIN |
Harry's career in the entertainment business started when he trained at Drama school for three years. This training ensured him for many different acting roles including character roles in some of Britain's most popular productions. During this time Harry's favourite roles included Bill Sykes in the North East tour of "Oliver" and Richard the drunken vet in John Chapman and Dave Freeman's comedy "Key For Two". Both parts gaining Harry outstanding reviews. Television was to follow, with appearances in "A Touch Of Frost" for ITV, "Dalziel & Pascoe" and "Playing The Field" for the BBC, being the most recent. However, Harry is best known today as a cabaret artiste and can been seen regularly headlining in the major British cabaret rooms. Although known as one of the best singing mimics on the scene today, with spot on recreations ranging from Brian Ferry to Tom Jones and Neil Diamond. It is his remarkable tribute to Dean Martin that has taken his career to new heights. Perhaps the highlight of this was his performance of "Sway" with a full big band at The Ceasars Palace Ballroom in Las Vegas. More recently he has toured Britain with the major hit show "The Rat Pack" alongside tributes to Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jnr, playing to S.R.O audiences. Appearances such as these and solo engagements for chains such as Warners and at major theatres have led to Harry being recognised as "Britain's number one tribute to Dean Martin".
