RAHUL D'MELLO
IS SAMMY DAVIS JNR
Rahul was born in India and it was there that he achieved success in the music industry at a very early age.

Signed to the Time Recording Label, he made the charts on many occassions and was seen as India's answer to Robbie Williams,  often joining promotional tours with the likes of Ricky Martin.

However, western music has always played a large part in Rahul's act. And with a South American Father (Sammy had a South American Mother!) and family based in Europe, it was only natural that he would launch a musical career upon his arrival in Britain. And what a career he has had during the last five years.

This busy time has led to more recordings, Television shows and theatre dates. However it is his unique tribute to Sammy Davis Jnr - a personal hero, that has won him a new audience and fan base, while performing the songs he has always wanted to sing and record.

Like Sammy, Rahul has many talents, including song-writing, playing guitar and the skill Sammy also mastered of playing the Drums. Both were influenced by the great Buddy Rich and in his shows, Rahul particularly enjoys singing the songs featured on Sammy's "Sounds of '66" album recorded with Buddy's swinging Band.

Rahul can now be booked solo or as part of this spectacular tribute to The Rat Pack.
