Space Shuttle Discovery Lands at Barksdale AFB!

Hundreds of people in the Shreveport/Bossier City area were treated to an historic event as the Space Shuttle Discovery made a stopover at Barksdale AFB piggy-backed on a modified 747.  It stopped for refueling as it made its way back to Florida after the first space mission since the Columbia tragedy in 2003.

Discovery as it makes its approach to Barksdale AFB.  Hundreds of people were on hand to see the landing.
