Baptized

Salty water, sandy feet
My white cloth and dress all wet
My face filled with salt water
And all I could taste was salt

Salty water, sandy feet
Baptized with water
Dead to the world
And risen as a child of God

Salty water, sandy feet
My sins are washed away
I was a stain white cloth
But now, I am cleansed

Salty water, sandy feet
I pictured Jesus Christ dying for me
Nailed and beaten on the cross
With red blood gushing down his body

Salty water, sandy feet
As I walk back to shore
I felt accomplished and mature
I am now responsible for my own actions
