| "THE WHITE ROSE" SYNOPSIS On a frigid winter morning, amidst the sounds of the New York city rush hour, a homeless man (Dominic Chianese) trudges through an icy Central Park to meet a special friend. The encounter triggers memories of his youth and sends him on a magical journey that begins and ends at the same place...the statue of a fallen hero, Jose Marti. Written, directed and produced by Nathan Nazario, "The White Rose" is inspired by Cultivo Una Rosa Blanca, a poem by Cuban icon Jose Marti. Starring Emmy-nominated actor Dominic Chianese ("The Sopranos") and featuring his original score. Also starring Dominic Chianese Jr. ("The Thomas Crown Affair"), Natascia Diaz ("Seussical"), Nancy Franklin, Heidi Nazario, John Baer, Freddy Pensante and Eric Nazario. Martin Ahlgren is the cinematographer. Edited by Fanny Lee, Ralph Toporoff and Michael Grutchfield. Alex Levinsohn is the line producer. Production design by Betty Martin. |
