On Becoming an Officer
If you have a desire to be an officer post it once in the guild forum. The council will take it into consideration when we have openings. An officer candidate will be someone who is willing to put in that extra to help make the guild better, not at the expense of what has already been built.
When considering officers we look for people that participate in the guild. You can run a raid, party or hunt (by posting in advance to let people know you want one to happen and get peeps to attend) or support guild events. We like candidates who post on the guild forum positive uplifting or productive information that contribute towards the growth of the guild and we especially like "in character" tavern posts. An officer should be someone who is ready and willing to help guildmates, organize guild groups and inspire others to join that will be contributing parts of the guild.
We do not promote people who train deliberately, violate Verant rules, are rude and discourteous to other players in or out of guild, bash the guild or its leadership publicly (constructive criticism is ok, insults are not) or have a reputation for begging.
Officers tend to be held to a higher standard than other members and it is often a distracting and thankless task, be sure you want to take it on, post your desire and be prepared to be grilled mercilessly by the council before the final vote is taken. |
