::Stepping up and having a seat, Xentle slams down a couple of bottles of Elven wine and looks around::
My Friends
::He began and paused to pound his chest and ease that pressure with an asperated release from drinking the wine to fast::
I arrived early the other day. ::taking another swig:: to the edge of teh Estate of Unrest where we were to gather to subdue as many of the acursed occupents as we could lay blade to or caste upon. ::Sigh::
Being early I turned upon the task of finding my way out to help others in, but instead got myself caught in a skiff.  Instead of assisting others no I had to await my own rescuers.  I sat looking about the infested lake on the hard stone island that stands like the pupil in an eye in th emiddle of Dagnor's Cauldram.
::Swig::
Looking up I caught sight fo the heals of Tropelet racing across the air above me. I hailed him and he and his traveling companions pulled me from my strife.
::Looking around at those listening::
Upon again returning to the cave tha tleads into the this shadowed realm of undead.  Our forces gatherred and built and our guild went in as a team to face the tretchery withing.
::Smile::
Are ye pallets whet for the heart of the tale?  Lets us hear some of what my Raid mates have to tell of this venture.
::Loking back at the tavern door he waits to see who else might enter to share their memories of the venture.::

Raises his glass
That was certainly an experience to remember.  Moments of quiet only to be broken by the shout of "Train!!"
Takes a deep drought
"To Arms, To Arms" the cry would ring.  Kazaan wielding his massive axe would fell one after another of the would be undead assailants.  Velerestra claws gleaming with each stroke effortlessly dispatching others.
sigh*
Many other blades would rise and fall cleaving fetid flesh of bodies brought back from the grave by unholy magic.  Again and again the waves would come, only to break upon the hardened back of the guild's finest.  Until once more peace and calm was restored to the Estate of Unrest and its monsters lay in broken heaps at our feet.
Salute to all and a Drink to past battles!!

Val saunters in with a mischevious smile, sits down and orders a nice fru-fru elven wife which she sips daintily from a crystal goblet as she talks.

Ah yes, that was a day to remember.   In the wee hours of the morning Taj, Ayr and I set ourselves to scout the ancient grounds of Unrest in advance of the Guild's arrival.  We found that the dwarf lords who had lived there in ages past did not leave much in the way of wholesome spirits behind them, in fact the mansion and surounding grounds were infested by foul creatures.   We waded through them, with Captain Tajina commanding us bravely from one spot to the next, a hackin' and a slicin' and smashin' and crushin' only to have more rain down on us from all sides, it was indeed quite fearful at times.  Finally, surrounded by a cluster of werebats and mummies and down to the last we decided to direct our advance toward the rear and prepare for the arrival of our compatriots.

With the following dawn our fellow Destructors arrived, prepped and forewarned of the horrors we had encountered.  As one we invaded the unholy site.  With all my steadfast Guildmates at my side <raises her goblet in salute to her fellow Destructors  > we stood our ground amidst the desolation and destruction, more than a little of which was caused by us, as the hordes rushed out of the dark and sinister house to meet their long awaited and eternal death at our hands.

Even the ghosts of Dwarven Battlemasters past were no match for the Destructors as Captain Vertico struck them down one by one with his cleansing fire.  Wave after wave they came and still we stood, a Guild, a Team, not faltering or wavering but each doing our piece to repel and contain the hordes of undead and their twisted many-legged lackies.

Many a foul beast was hewn down that day and a fine honorable battle it was, with much glory for us, the Forces of Good and Justice, The Mighty and Victourious Destructors!

<stands and raises her glass in toast>
To the Destructors, long may they live in honor and righteousness!

<Val drains her goblet to complete the toast, then refills and sits back to sip again and hear the tales of her friends and guildmates>

::Lifts his flask in toast to his companions sharing the tale::
Indeed, it was a quest of valor.  It is a priveledge to be a part of the making of legends with guildmates of such vigor and honor.  Many times did I caste till I could caste no more and ye all did well at sheilding me whilest I recooped my mana.
::Swigging down another flask::
The flailing of blades and spectacle of magic flying in the air was a sight to behold.  Did charge the blod with vigor and inspire all that could see.
::Looks again at the door to see who else might join and tell of there experience.::

::Stands and nods to those still enjoying their refreshments, tosses a couple gold peices on the counter and catches himself from aslight miss step.::
I haven't had too much really, .. no prob..
::With a slight swagger he heads out to see what is going on with the RAID scheduled to take place in Guk.::

Ah Xentle and if it wasn't for the fact my alcohol tolerance has only just reached 7# I would be in there celebrating your new gift of story telling, and tolls of life (has had a few tolls with some birds in SK recently).  LOL

as Val brushes the seaweed out of her hair and knocks yet more sand out of her boots from her swimming trip in Timorous Deep she overhears Vertico and Overit talking to Xentle and chimes in herself...

Hey Xentle, did the birdies treat you badly?    I would be happy to go down and carve them up with you, we can have roasted Karana Legs for dinner tonight    ...<ouch,the brush snagged in my hair> ... but first I have to get cleaned up so I'll feel elven again, instead of <ouch> like a fish.  Oh, just one thing though <upends her pack to dump several gallons of water on the floor> no boats please, kay

Bartender!  Get someone over here to clean up this mess!
:Val goes upstairs to take a warm bath and do her hair and makeup so she'll look pretty for all the cute guys in this bar

:ulls  Plains Pebble out of his boot::
Spent a little time kicking around down their recently, my newest blast spell I am getting down to where you can catch the fresh roasted bird chunks while they are still stepping.  Probably taste better with a little seasoning though.
::Hears Val running water upstairs and laughs::
Now there is a cure for too much swimming, .. More water!
::Snickers::
Gonna have to make some fish wine for her, ..
::Almost falls off his bar stool laughing.::
Anyone is welcome to come help me stir things up in SK, Tajina, Overit, Naturia, Maxell and I am sure I am forgetting someone(s) anyway there have been several kicking thing sup there with me already.
::Slams down a few more Meads and looks around enjoying the company.::

:: Wonders in to the traven looking fresh and well rested, She notcies a barmaiden cleaning up a sandy-watery mess as she walks over to the table her friends and guildmates are seated at .  ::
"Hello every one"
:: she seats her self ::
< nods of acknowledgement flow around the table >
:: She orders a glass of chilled white wine from the bar keep, placeing some coins on the table, she listens as her mates continue to recap recent battles. ::
Ah, I wish I had been there for the honorable battle in Unrest but prior engagments kept me away, the midnight excursion the night before with Val and Aryton was indeed some good and valiant battleing.
:: she jumps out of the way, as Xentle's gestering as he spoke knocks the glass of wine the barkeep is carrying out of his hand, the glass hits the floor, but does not shatter. ::
< "I'll bring you another glass miss, right away" the barkeep say's with  side glance at Xentle.>
We a little drunk there Xen ?
< Xentle looks obilivous to what he just did >
:: Tajina shakes her head with a smile and a sigh ::
Karana, yes, I have spent many days hunting the area.
:: recent battles reflect in her eyes ::
I have seen many a destructors stirring up trouble for the birds and gnolls that have invaded the fair lands of  the Karana's .
:: She takes a sip of her wine that has been safely delivered to her ::
It is good to see so many fellow mates in the karana's helping to vanquish all the evils and desease out of the land.    Hey Vert, maybe when you get over there after we have taken care of some the unwanted inhabitants of Karana, A bunch of us could go over to Rathe Moutains, I hear there are some Cyclops and Hill Giants causeing trouble over there.
:: Leans back in her chair sipping her wine as she listens to stories unfolding around her ::

Walks in with a few fresh cuts on his arms and shoulder and blanket of sand from a recent sand storm.  Hands show heavy tan marks from a magic fireball that had struck its target at near point blank range.  Seeing the guild heavily drunk in corner of the tavern, he orders a simple drink of Bog Juice and askes for a  FirstAid kit
Hey ya guys!
Winces a bit as he cleans out some of the cuts
Nice to see so many Destructors last night in SK causing so much mayhem!  I think those Tesch Mas Gnolls and Aviaks will be speaking our names in low hushes from now on. LOL
Opens his pack and pulls out about 3 stacks of honey roasted Aviak drumsticks and passes it about
Courtesy of bird carving Jaledan did last night!!!
We'll have to do more hunting down there it was fun.  Still got a few blue cons even to me.  I'll guarentee i'll be down in that area a little more often now. LOL

:comes back down to the bar clean, fresh and smelling faintly of Jasmine perfume oil, tosses a couple of warped and broken bowstaves into the trash and notices Vertico cleaning his wounds...
Oh!  Vertico you're wounded!  I do hope you're ok, here let me help you, just relax and I'll make it all better
:sits next to Vertico and takes his sponge from his hand, gently cleaning and bandaging his wounds for him while he relaxes with a wine and an aviak drumstick
oh, those awful birds!  Well guess what everyone, I have mastered my fletching skills now and as soon as I get one of these bowstaffs cut just right <nodding towards the trash can which now contains 5 flawed bows> I'll come hunt with you (if that's ok) and we'll shoot them right out of the sky
:checks vertico's bandages to make sure they are not too tight and beams him a smile then pours herself a goblet of elven wine and leans back in a chair herself to try out some Jaledanian Honeyed Legs.
mmm, these are good, thanks to Jal for carving them up and Vert for cooking them up in such a gormet manner.
:finishes eating, pulls out another treant wood bowstaff, drags over a bucket for the scrapings and starts carving away... again.

Actually it was 2 Tesch Mas Gnolls Valerestra
One blue and one green but hitting consistently for 54.
<Takes a liberal drought of the Bog Juice.  Got me down to practically half a yellow before i remembered Xentle saying something about kiting.  LOL barely escaped in time but did.  Thankfully Xentle's legacy and his breeze was still with me.  An with medding and kiting both did finally sucuum.
But thankfully last night was a killer night in oasis.
<Walks over to his bag and opens it spilling out a couple pounds of Oasis Sand>
I would seem that last night I was the only SG hunter in Oasis.  But not to worry, SG from now on will tremble at the meer mention of our name if they aren't extinct by now.  Likewise LockJaw will not pester newbies at the beaches of Oasis neither.
<Reaches shallowly into his bag and produces 3 bags of Sands of Ro as well as a rare LockJaw Hide Tunic>
<Looking over at Tajina seeing her fingers still crossed>
LOL You can uncross your fingers now Taj.  Your charm stayed with me the whole night as i'm sure most of all guild's did.  Just hope i didn't take too much of the luck from you guys. hehehe.  Your luck held us even in our incursion into Rathe Mountains.  Got to do that again.  Ready to go there again whenever you are.
<smiles broadly as he pulls out a set of Cyclops toes out of his bag>
Ohh!!! <reeling back from the item>
Ok maybe taking that as a trophy wasn't a good idea after all.  Bartender can you have these cleaned and washed plz??  I'll pay you an extra 50 plats for your trouble.  Thanks.

:: Tajina sits in the corner amusing herself by watching the fire light from the travern lanterns dance an play in her glass of white wine. She nods Hello to Vertico.  Seeing him tending to his cuts and scrahces she stands to go give him a hand but falls back bown into her chair ::
umm let me try that again
:: she looks at her glass of wine acuseingly ::
   Hello Val.
:: Seeing that Vert is in good hands she takes a drink of her wine and makes a gester to the barkeep, placeing a few more coins on the table ::
Yes it is good to see so may mates over in the Karanas fighting to free the land of all the unwanted Vernin and desise .
::raises her glass to Val::
Gratz on mastering your fletching Skills .
:: Tinjina smiles brightly as she watches Vertico give the sands to Xentle ::
 OH, Thank you Vert
::  uncrossesing her fingers in an exaggerated motion ::
Well if you ask me, those Sandgaints deserved every thing they got, and that LockJaw did too!
:: suddenly she puts her hand to her stumach to keep it settled and then wonders if Vert is plannig to make a neckless out of clops toes and laughs to her self, maybe a bit too loudly ::
I would be honored to hunt with you again Vert any time.
:: she chimes, shakeing off the looks she is getting for her sudden out burst of laghter. ::
There are many in this room that I would gladly hunt with again, and many guild mates I look forward to hunting with some day as far as that goes.
:: She snickered at herself for wanting to ramble on about this subjict, she was starting to supect she might be just a little bit intoxicated and snickered again ::
Oh, my! I think it's time for me to go.
:: She stands up and gulps down a full glass of wine and heads for the door, pauseing in front of valerestra, to watch her work on her stick for a moment. ::
Don't worry Val, this will be the one, it's going to be a wonderful bow.
:: she pats Val on the shoulder in an encourageing and cumforting way perhaps a bit to much so, but she did mean well. ::
OK night every one, I'm off to a much needed sleep I think.
::  feeling a bit emberased she heads out the door, only swaying slightly ::

:: Slips back to a seat with his companions, contimplating the new spells he learned not long ago and how he can more effectively use them. ::
Hi guys!  Hey Taj when are we going to have that party?
:: Tosses a pp on the barmaids tray for the glass and bottle of Brandy she set out for him on the table.::
Looks like we have moved on to cleaning trash out of the Rathetear Lake and the mountains near-by.  Vert, if you can get any of those bonechip rods off some of the giant skelies over there, let's through a couple in the warchest for when we might need one to trackdown a corpse.
:: Breathing in the fragrance of the brandy, he takes a belt and sets the glass down again.::
Val, have you gone for any more transcontinental swims lately?  :: Chuckles ::  Or maybe you have kill one of those giant Kiolas so you could get some Kiola nuts?
:: Looks closely at Valerestra's hair :: Is your hair turning green?
:: Chuckles at Tajina as she staggers from table to wall, making her way to the door.  ::  Taj, are you going to find your way home ok, ....
