As Tajina headed
out the door on her way to Velious, she was almost
knocked over By Bert as he rushed in, he caught her and
practically dragged her over to the bar. He waved
Valerestra over and insisted they have a shot or two
with him. " ok Bert you can let go of me now, I
don't think I'm going to fall over.” She said to
him in a teasing voice as he still had his arm around
her. The sound of Aeorick’s voice barking at Bert to get
a move on made her jump. She turned and Greeted
Aeorick with a smile as he strode over to them. His
green eyes on her. She poked Bert in the ribs with her
elbow at the remark made about how high her bar-tab was.
The four shot glasses sparkled in the sunshine that fell
upon them as they were raised high and gently taped
together in a salute to the Destructors and Dragon
Flame. Time being short for them a few more quick shots
and all were on their separate ways. Tajina hugged Bert,
Aeorick an Val good bye, I will see you all in befallen
but for now I must go to Velious, I have just enough
time to go there an see what’s going on an make it to
Befallen in time.....
A few days later
Tajina slips in through the back door of
the tavern. She had been in Velious searching for
help for Ayrton, only to learn that her own comrades had
already taken care of him. She was very thankful to
Vertico for taking care if it, she just wished she had
known before she went there and spent days trudging
through snow looking for what was left of Ayrton.
As she entered the bar
room she see's Ayrton sitting in his usual seat, sipping
a glass of wine, a bottle of wine sat on the table in
front of him along side an empty glass. She wanted to
talk to him, but wasn't sure if she should, after the
last talk they had he went off and carelessly got him
self almost unrez’ably killed. She hadn't freed him from
slavery for him only to wind up as some kind of
appetizer for some unholy monster. She stepped up behind
him an asked if he was going to fill the other,
indicating the empty glass on his table. She had no idea
who it had been placed there for, but it was hers now,
she needed to talk to him an she wanted to do now while
her courage held out. Tajina had been
talking in hushed tones with Ayrton when she got up and
walked over to Vertico, she stood in front of him for a
few moments, waiting for him to remove the cup from his
lips. As he set it down she stepped closer and gave him
a tight hug thanked him again for helping Ayrton, Kissed
him on the cheek, ordered a fresh glass of wine and went
to the seat that bore her name. She had just sat
down when Val came in shaking snow all over the
place. Tajina raised her glass to Val as
she listened to Val’s toast to the befallen raid, she
couldn't help but smile to her self as she remembered
the lovely time she had being grouped with Bert an
Aeorick. Tajina picked her glass up and took
it with her as she went to see what Val wanted every one
together around for. She looked on as Val pulled out a
truly masterfully crafted bow, " That’s beautiful
Val, congratulation, see we knew you would do.
Tunare knows you tried hard enough." Tajina's eyes
involuntarily scan the small piles of unsuccessful
attempts that lay near the fireplace. Tajina
noticed that Ayrton was standing close to her with a
bottle of wine in his hand she gently taped her empty
glass in the tip of the bottle. With a mischievous smile
Ayrton filled her glass. She looked back to Val
just in time to see the ranger let lose an arrow,
Tajina's heart started to pound as she felt the arrow
speed past her head, she felt the lose strands of hair
brush across her shoulder as they came to rest from the
small sudden burst of wind the speeding arrow had
brought in it's path. A bit unnerved Tajina looked
around, no one seemed to noticed just how close to her
the rangers arrow had come, Tajina laughed to herself an
shook her head ' Thank Tunare that Valerestra is an
excellent marksmen as well as a master crafter. '
She returned to her seat an watched as Val gave
yet more trophies to the barkeep for the Tavern walls.
Tajina stood holding her glass
high, " Here is to the Destructors and successful
raids, And our noble continuous quest to rid Norrath of
evil." With that she went to the bar ordered a
bottle of wine Bid every goodnight and stepped out the
Tavern door.... |

After filling Tajina's glass and explaining
how he ended up in pieces in the Great Divide, and
telling of Vertico's valiant rescue, Tajina went over
and kissed Vert on the cheek.
Upon Val's entrance
everyone gathered around to see her "most spectacular
bow"....Tajina tapped her glass on the bottle in Ayton's
hand and he refilled it for her with a smile, watching
her as the arrow wizzed by her he saw the blood rush to
her cheeks, aware that the closeness they once shared
seemed to be slightly dimmed, but unwilling to just
leave it at that, he tries to figure out a way to close
the gap before it gets to wide. He wonders if she ever
got the message he sent through the bard mail service,
he wasnt in a very good frame of mind when he wrote it,
and hopes it isnt the cause of the distance between
them.
As she toasts the guilds success, he
admires how she commands the attention of all in the
room. When she leaves the Tavern, bottle of wine in
hand, he follows her with his eyes til the door closes
behind her. He emptys the bottle into his glass,
drains it, steps to the bar, asks the barkeep for a room
key and heads for the stairs, to get some much needed
rest and recuperation......At the bottom of the stairs
he stops, "I wonder if I'm supposed to go help her drink
that bottle?" he asks himself quietly. Not expecting an
answer, but getting one anyway in the form of a chuckle
from.....

Stepping in through the back entrance he
stays hidden and observes the patrons of this almost
familiar place. Somehoe he knew his way here.
The dark elves that made him said he would find
his way to the one he must destroy in order to possess a
soul and live for real. He could sense his
presence in this Tavern even now. Hidden cloaked in
shadows he milled amongst the living unseen and
unnoticed except perhaps the occassional chill they felt
in his passing. He found his victim to be drinking
in a Chair that confirmed it even if he didn't already
know, "Ayrton" in big wooden letters. A throat too
easy to cut from the shadows, but it wasn't the place or
the time. He still needed to grow stronger. A dark
elf necro and a his cleric mate, formed him from the
scant remains they found charmed by the magical touch of
dragons breath. He could feel this soul lamenting and
empassioned, his soul to be, when he heard the words "I
wonder if I'm supposed to go help her drink that
bottle?" he could not help but chuckle whisperring
"careful what you paint, I will steal your
future.". Foolish move he knew, giving away his
presence, but pulling deeper into the shadows he slipped
back towards the rear door of the Tavern again.
