 The
following is a brief color chart
for candle magick.
Red:
The element of fire. Used in strong passion and blood of the moon
ceremonies. Strength, sexual love, health, vigor.
Orange:
Used for inner peace, success and legal matters. Encouragement,
adaptability, stimulation and attraction..
Gold:
The essence of the God, wealth and masculine power. Attraction,
persuasion, charm, confidence. The essence of the sun, happiness and
intelligence.
Pink:
Romantic love, healing and blessings. Honor, love and morality.
Green:
Essence of the Goddess, healing, money, fertility and growth.
Finance, fertility and luck.
Greenish-yellow:
Sickness, cowardice, anger, jealousy and discord.
Blue:
Used for peace, protection and wisdom. (Light Blue: Tranquility,
understanding, patience and health.) (Dark Blue: Impulsiveness, depression
and changeability.)
Purple:
A power color for psychic ability; extra strength in spells.
Tension, ambition, business progress and power.
Silver/Gray:
Telepathy, spiritual strength and wisdom. Cancellation, neutrality,
stalemate.
Brown:
Earth work, elemental magick, and symbolism. Hesitation,
uncertainty, neutrality.
Black:
Wards off negative energy. Also for binding and shape shifting.
Evil, loss, discord, confusion.
White:
Spirit, protection, general reinforcement, higher knowledge.
Purity, truth and sincerity.
Color
is very powerful energy. Use it wisely and with care. "Dress"
candles with corresponding oils,
and burn related incense. If you do not have the correct oil for anointing
you may replace it with Olive oil. Candle magick can be
done on your altar but since alot of rituals require them to be set up for
an extended period of time an alternative may be necessary. You will have
a white altar candle (with the Goddess and God representations beside
it).
Do
NOT do candle magick that interferes with another person unwillingly.
