Magick with cords represents another simple magickal operation you can use alone or with other magickal applications, such as candle and petition work.

Simple cord magick entails the following;
*Choise of color
*Choise of cord length
*Choice of a disposibe cord, or one you will use again.
*Choice of divinity

Normally cord magick uses a red, white or black cord (basic colors of early god and goddess worship) thirteen inches in length, with the intension of givingt the cord away or disposing of the cord when your finished. Of course, you can work with every color of the rainbow or something in between- the choise lies with you  and depends on your own experementation.

Cord magick requires the magickal operation of changing, where you change each knot with a chant or charm. A witch seals each not by drawing an equal aremed cross (+) over the knot and dabbing the knot with oil or saliva. Disposal of the cord depends on the purpose of the spell. If you wish to banish negativity, you would bury the cord immediatly away from your home. If the application will centre on healing or drawing something towards you keep the cord untill the desire manifests, then release the magick and burn the cord. You release the magick by drawing a star in the air over the cord while pictureing all magick seeping away from the item.

As with petition and candle magick, the witch must first write out exactly what they want, and then form a picture in their mind of the successful conclusion of the desire. As the witch ties the knots, they concentrate on the picture of success.
Tie the knots in the following manner:

                                      1-6-4-7-3-8-5-9-2

      While saying:
By knot of one, this spell's begun
By knot of two, my words are true
By knot of three, it comes to be
By knot of four, power in store
By knot of five, this spell's alive
By knot of six, this spell is fixed
By knot of seven, the answer's given
By knot of eight, I meld with fate
By knot of nine, the thing is mine.
