Andy "Ira" Bradford
About:
Hello, you are about to enter into the wonderful world of everything that is me. I can tell you are excited.  Well, I am a 21 year old junior geology student here at Allegheny College and even though I graduate in one year I currently have no direction or ambition other than to play guitar.  I have been playing bass off and on since I was in 8th grade and have been in several bands that have played everything from Metal to Classic Rock. I was born and bred in the 'burbs of Pittsburgh and I love bad movies (MST3K! Woot!) and puppy dogs.  There's really not much else so I'll get on with it.
Musical Influences:
Les Claypool, Flea, Jimi Hendrix--He taught me that 'letting your soul guide your fingers while playing is just as imporant as the technical training', STP, Elastica, Pavement, The Toasters, Zepplin, The Stones, King Django, Tool, NIN, Modest Mouse, Lion Groin, MU330, Cake, Weezer and lots more; look at my CD collection if you really want to know.
Thanks to:
My parents and family: for dealing with my lunacy; Randi (my dog): for always being there; all my freinds (you know who you are): for being so damn cool; all the other bands we have played with;  and everyone that has come to our shows/practices and had a good time.
Extra Special thanks to: Kaitlin & Podboy for letting us playing your shows; Chris, Riley, Gina, Kaitlin, Jen and Jackie for coming on the road with us; All the guys from Zooklok (yeah, god IS a sandwich); my Housemates for dealing with my practicing at all hours of the day; and last but not least the rest of the band: Jon, Derrick and Mark.
Equipment:
I use a Peavy Fury II bass, a Hartke 3500 series amplifier and 2 cabinets:  a Hartke 15" and  a Hartke 2x10".
