No longer free to buy and sell at will
On one of the bleakest days of turmoil and looting as a sign of the people's dispair; the press secretary for the newly established international government said "It's untidy, and freedom's untidy; free people are going to make mistakes and commit crimes and do bad things: such as anarchy and lawlessness."  He also stated "I picked up a newspaper today and I couldn't believe it, eight headlines talked about chaos, violence, unrest.  And here is a world that's being liberated, and people who are going from being repressed and held under the thumb of monopolistic corporations, to be free under our international mandated laws."  In the effort to resist any authority, some residents have either been looting, or joing with gangs and committing  vandalism.  An International Committee has been set up to protect civilians and essential services, such as hospitals on a world wide basis.  In a move that furthers the United Nations' role a decision has been made to grant them power over over all international security forces.  Mobilization of these security forces will begin immediately.
