The Worldwide Pageant tm is not your traditional beauty pageant. Dedicated to the philosophy that everyone has their own sense of style and beauty, we are a "personal style" and "achievement" program. we really want to see your unique qualities and personality shine! Originally the National America Pageant, the name changed to accomidate the need for an international system.  The pageant then changed hands from director Connie Bigelow, due to health issues, to former Worldwide title holder and worldwide Ambassador, Dr. Effie Horning LPT, RN, DSH.  In honor of Connie and her battle with breast cancer, Effie designed the new crowns for the delegates and international title holders to be the only crowns with the prink ribbon in them. Designed to be a fundraiser to the Worldwide Foundation  (a federally recognized 501 (c)3 ),  the program works with the foundation's mission statement to "Cure the the stigma, fear and disease of (breast) cancer" and works to better the world and community through the actions and efforts of its delegates and title holders. With assistance from the Worldwide Foundation, the pagent presents its contestants with many wonderful awards pageant week including the Service Excellence and Spirit of H.O.P.E. (Helping Other People is Empowering) Awards. In March of 2007, the Worldwide Pageant made a switch in directorship to the current reigning Ms Worldwide, Wendy Lindberg, in an effort to keep the pageant live.  For 2008, Contestants will find themselves in Midwest MN in a BEAUTIFUL lake city with a fantastic resort which houses a spa and indoor water park attached.  Come join us for the pageant, be a sponsor, or become a contestant. either way we are confident you will....
