A catch-all label for mystickal societies unaligned with the Council of
Nine, the so-called Crafts (who almost never answer to that title)
rarely make little distinction between the hedge wizard and the
Awakened One. To them, labels are a waste of time. Complete Craft

• Ahl-i-Batin: Secretive Arabic mysticks who wished to create a forum under which all mages could be unified but who have since left the Council of Nine to tread their own path. The Ahl-i-Batin are incapable of understanding or using the Sphere of Entropy. (Correspondence) Common Foci: Begging bowl, compass, dancing, meditation, music, paper, pen and ink, placebo pills, prayer, ruler, triangle

• Bata'a: These voodoo mysticks strive for the freedom and prosperity for their people and a reunion with the sacred ghosts of their new land. (Spirit) Common Foci: Altars, blades, body parts, dance, icons, mojo bag/witch bottle, powders, prayers, sacrifice, scarification, serpents, song, trances, whips

• Children of Knowledge: Western alchemists who try to help humanity transcend the bonds of spiritual ignorance. (Matter) Common Foci: Astrological charts, books, chalk, elixers, pastilles, potions, powders, sampling equipment, special inks used on unusual surfaces, ungents (creams or jellies)

• Hem-Ka Sobk: A craft of Egyptian sinners turned community-focused assassins in service to Sobk, a crocodile deity. No Hem-Ka is permitted to learn Entropy, Forces, Matter, or Prime. (Correspondence or Spirit) Common Foci: Hersh Effect, scarification, tracing scars with finger or tongue, water

• Hollow Ones: Not a formal Craft, but close. Though they drape themselves in darkness, these young seers carry less baggage in their quest for Ascension than any other group. (Any) Common Foci: Shopping-mall occult paraphernalia, magic tricks, black candles, music, roleplaying games, cosmetics

• Kopa Loei: An eclectic group of Polynesian and Hawai'ian shamans. (Any) Common Foci: Chants, hand gestures, images of the gods, percussion instruments, poultices and drinks, prayers, purification rituals, temples, white tapa banners

• Sisters of Hippolyta: Feminine power and sisterhood are the birthrights of these Amazon separatists. (Life) Common Foci: Dance, herbs, massage, medical equipment, meditation, poetry, song

• Templars: A secret society of warrior-monks warring with the enemies of Christ, preparing the world for His return. (Forces) Common Foci: Alters, breviary/hymnal, cross or cruscifix, the Bible, guns, incense, knight's mantle, monstrance, self flagellation, shields, swords

• Wu-Keng: Chinese peasant shamans who hide as women and derive their power from the undefined. They serve terrible spirits who forbid the use of the Spheres of Spirit or Time. (Entropy or Forces) Common Foci: Art and language

• Wu Lung: Noble Manchurian mysticks whose magick flows from the five Chinese elements and the veneration of their ancestors. (Spirit or Forces, female characters may choose Life) Common Foci: Ancestral shrines, fans, imperial emblems and sigils, incense, items made of jade or gold, powder of the five elements, prayer beads, prayer sticks, rice, silk, anything associated with Chinese dragons
Crafts
