And in the end all that remains is one question,
"When will you Rage?"
Some werewolves regard Rage as a blessing, but any werewolf who has succumbed to his beast and killed his friends and family knows the truth it is a curse which werewolves have learned to use to their advantage.

~ Use your Rage to gain extra actions per turn, however you can not spend more Rage per turn than half your Physical Traits.

~ Spend a Rage Trait to instantly change to any form you desire with no waiting and no tests. (Special circumstances are an exception to this option.)

~ When you fall below the Incapacitated health level you can opt to spend a Rage Trait and make a Rage challenge with the Storyteller. If you succeed you regain health levels up to Wounded. This can only be done once per scene, so only once per fight. When you do this you get a battle scar, which can be very damaging.

Gaining Rage

~ You gain your temporary Rage Traits back at the beginning of the night when you first see the moon.
      New Moon = one Trait
      Crescent Moon = two Traits
      Half Moon = three Traits
      Full Moon = four Traits
If the phase of the moon corresponds with your auspice you gain all of your Rage back.

~ When you lose a Rage test in a particularly stressful situation, such as during life-or-death situations, the Storyteller may allow you to gain a Rage Trait to reflect your building frustration and near frenzied state.

~ The Storyteller may award a Rage Trait when you all into a humiliating situation, like a changeling making you think you are a Cho Cho Train.

~ Should you spend your last Rage trait you revert to your Breed form as your inner beast has temporarily lost its fuel and ability to take warrior form, of course Metis end up in Crinos and are a walking rending of the Veil. This is known as “losing the wolf” you may not change forms until you regain a point of Rage.

Frenzy
When making a Rage test it is immediately followed by a Frenzy test.

It is a challenge between your permanent Willpower and your permanent Rage (unless your temporary Rage exceeds your permanent Rage, then you use your temporary number). The Storyteller will throw for your Willpower and you for your Rage. Should your Rage win, you will Frenzy. You must spend a Willpower trait to stop a Frenzy, and forfeit any actions for the rest of the turn, or become a destructive machine lashing out at anyone or thing that gets in your way.

There are two types of Frenzy.

*Berserk Frenzy
= You shift immediately into Crinos or Hispo forms and attack something, preferably whatever was causing you to gain Rage. (If your Permanent Gnosis is higher than you permanent Rage you will not attack your packmates unless under the Thrall of the Wyrm.) You can choose to spend a Willpower during a Frenzy to direct your Rage at enemies, or hostile targets nearby.

Anyone or thing moving or breathing can be target, this includes friends, family, lovers, and so on.
BEWARE OF YOUR RAGE!

*
Fox Frenzy = Shift to Lupus and run from threat which induced the Frenzy. They will attack anything in their way to get it out of their way and will find a place to hide until the Frenzy ends.

During these Frenzies you may not use special tactics or maneuvers, however you can keep Rage actions. You may not use Gifts, step sideways, or use pack tactics. You may bite, claw, or run, that is all.

Frenzy ends when the cause of the Rage passes, you may make a Static Willpower vs. Frenzy test every turn until you succeed. With success you return to your facilities and deal with the damage and horror you have caused.
