Leopard geckos (Eublepharis Macularius) are an interesting species. They are a good starter gecko, as they are pretty easy to care for and to not get very large, and it is what I started with at age 13. My first ever reptile was a hatchling leopard gecko, who never did get a name other than "Gecko". Unfortunately, after about two years, he died froma tragic case of impaction due to some bad husbandry advice. Currently, I have two leopard geckos, a male: Leo (short for Leonard), who I got from my high school biology teacher and is aproxamately 12 years old, and a female: Fredrica, who is about 5 years old. Below are photos of each of them! |
