Douglas Fairbanks passed away in his sleep of a heart attack. Years later, Douglas was interred at the Hollywood Memorial Cemetery (now known as Hollywood Forever) in a magnificent sarcophagus. Built by his widow Sylvia, we have her to thank for this wonderful memorial to Douglas.

Visitors can still come and pay their respects to Douglas and a bevy of other stars who rest quietly at Hollywood Forever. Douglas Fairbanks, Jr. is now also interred with his father, Jayar and Pete, together once again.
