well, this is laura
you've probably noticed lauras name mentioned in a few places around the site, and are wondering, 'who? what? when? where? why? and how?'
well, here we go:

laura was the girl living down the hall from me last year at a different college (in a bigger city where you *could* find one bloody copy of the nme).  now shes the girl who lives seven hours away and ensures that i run up my phone bill every month.  shes every bit the anglophile i am, and it was actually from her that i first heard the term (and it was from her boss that she first heard it).  together we have spent far too much time doing stupid (yet incredibly witty) things.
as far as this site goes, she is a contributer and my copy-editor (you should have seen some of my typos before she got to them!) .
at this point you may be thinking, 'oh.  shes your friend.'  well, youre wrong.
laura is not just a friend, she's my accomplice, spellcheck, and translator (would you have known what i meant if i said 'backathingie' to you, without lauras help? i think not!).
what you can see from this page:
stuff laura and i have written together

stuff laura wrote without me
or you can have the honour of laura telling you to bugger off!!
here's something new!  due to overwhelming demand (not really, though), laura has created her own website!  go there!
'im totally lost!
take me back to
the beginning!!
'now i know, and knowing is half the battle!'
