Hatebreed was kill. I saw all kinds of chics at the side of the stage, waiting for them to finish their set. That was more ompressive than the tunes.
Been waiting to see these guys for years. Heard about them from a friend. He played a tape for me. I don't remember it though. They rocked on the second stage.
POD were pretty good. I knew way more songs than I thought I would. The crowd was singing along with their hits.
by Mike Borton mikeborton@netzero.com 8-26-2002 Shorline Amphetheater, Mountain View, Cal., U.S.A. Aug. 25, 2002 Ozzfest 2002 was a complete success on many many levels. The crowds were very well behaved. Bars opened at eleven A.M. How sweet it was. The clouds of smoke kept drifting by letting you know it was always 4:20. There were not three stages, only two. The second stage offered many great bands early on. Not a bad set up considering it was in a parking lot. This is my review of Ozzfest 2002. It's not in order of appearance or as complete as I would like but there were a lot of bands. I think I got to see at least 12 or 13 of them. A special shout out to the Roadies who made the band changes very quick. The fastest I've ever seen. Perfect weather, lots of fine chics and kill tunes. Rock and Roll Heaven. GOD bless Sharon and OZZY. Thanks Lynn, Chris, Sarah, Matt and Stewart Usher

I was so stoked to see DOWN. Any project that Phil from PANTERA does rules. Rex was there I think, and a guy from CROWBAR too. Fucking rad dudes!
Not bad. Great crowd reaction. Never heard of them before. Chic singer! Killing her mic. Look out Phil. You've got female competition now. I think she's got some issues though.
What can I say? I did not know any of his songs. Saw a live video a couple of times. He just kicks ass whatever he does. Melted faces all around the damned place.
Awsome! Got the crowd goin, and chapped on the couple in front row seats that wouldn't stand up. Man I felt sorry for them. They showed them on the big screen for a whole song. Everbody chanted "you suck"! They just yawned and played around, then the chic started looking a little bent.
