Well it was labour day, what did you expect on labour day? To have a comic up and ready like it was any other normal day? Didn't you see my labour day special for 2003.
Seriously though, sorry about not getting this up on monday, but I had a lot better things to do which included 1) not being on a computer and 2) not being in dunedin. I had a fantastic long weekend which went pretty much to plan. Bought a bunch of clothes in christchurch, but that's okay because I seem to have a lot more money than most others at the moment. Best of all, I found a 4th book in the Vorkosigan series, and since the third one I read was a little boring, decided I needed one to up the anti. The series seems to get better as it goes along (I've read 12, 11, 3 - in that order and just bought 14). Number 3 seemed to slow me down a little bit, and it took ages to get going. I think I like the dialogue more than anything else and it seems to lack quite a bit of that, but I suppose as one of the earlier books it has to set up the environment for the latter books. McMaster Bujold seems to pump out like 2-3 books a year, it's quite impressive. And she does both Sci-Fi and Fantasy. She's also one of the few female writers that I have in my collection of books, although I wouldn't mind some more Janny Wurtz and Julian May.
