This page is for anyone who suffers from acne. I have struggled with this and it is a real drag. I am currently a senior in college and I am glad to say that I have finally come up with something that works for me.

The reason I am writing this is I recently went home for break and for the first time I felt like people noticed me and not my acne. My younger sister just started high school and she wanted to know what I changed because her face was starting to break out. So I told her, and then decided to share it with anyone who is interested.

This is what I did to solve my acne problems. I am not sure what step had the most effect but at this point I don't care. I am just grateful for clear skin again.

1. I always use a clean wash cloth and towel on my face. A little more laundry but I think it is worth it.

2. I never wear oil based make-up. I always use a water base and I take if off every night now matter how tired I am.

3. I change my pillow case twice a week.

4. I try to limit fried foods. This has also helped my waist line a bit. (an added benefit).

5. I drink a lot of water and limit alcohol. (mom if you are reading this I am careful and I am 21.)

6. I clean my sunglasses every few times I wear them so there is no oil build up that may cause a break-out.

7. I gave up chocolate. HaHa. Who am I kidding. I did watch it and cut down a little though.

8. When I go to aerobics I go without make-up and wash my face afterward. I do the same when I mow the lawn or play softball.

9. I tried many over the counter products and even went to a dermatologist but nothing seemed to clear it up completely. Plus some was expensive or dried out my skin.

Then I tried reversion products and that is when things started clearing up. I was encouraged by that and started following the other practices I already mentioned. I am not sure what combination solved my problem, I am just grateful they did.
Good Luck
