More, maybe, awaited news from Longview, a new tour and two, yes, two, not one, two new singles set for release in next couple of months. The first of the two singles coming on 10th May and it's going to be a 7" 'only release', and it's a cover of Depeche Mode's "stripped" and it's going to be avaible as a download from the official site also, so make sure you don't miss out, it'll be one not to miss!!! The second single to be released is a brand new song, not on mercury, not heard anywhere else, it's all new! It's called "In A Dream" and was probably recorded in the recent sessions out in Seattle where the band made their stunning debut album 'Mercury'!
Along with 2 brand new singles, a new 9 date UK tour has also been announced, see dates below for details, the band also have plans for a gig in New York, the big old apple, our boys are going stateside. They'll be heading out of our shores on 17th and will be playing in the big apple on the 19th, the venue will be the Mercury Lounge located at 217 East Houston Street, between Ludlow and Essex streets, where the Lower East Side meets the East Village. This'll be the first ever time Longview have touched there with a gig, but I'm sure they'll set ears to listen...
After playing at the Infinity Club last night in London, two more dates have been announced on Longview's ever growing tour schedule. Both of the gigs have been announced for London. the first being for the Carling Academy in Islington, London on 24th February. This will be part of channel 4's new Kings of Rock'n'Roll show. The show will be recorded live and will also feature Funeral For A Friend. For more info CLICK HERE
The second of the two London shows is going to be at the London Astoria on 12th May, set to be part of a new UK tour set to be announced soon, so keep checking back for more details.

The venue for the Feb 10th show is Infinity at 10 Old Burlington St, London, W1. Located in Mayfair the nearest tube is Piccadilly Circus. Doors will be at 8.00 with Donderevo the band that supported Longview at the Mean Fiddler doing a few acoustic as support. Tickets will be limited so get your orders in quick...
The official site has released minor details of another in a small line of intimate gigs. All will be revealed on the site on Monday and you can check here also when everythings announced, we'll have the news too. The gig is set to take place on Tuesday 10th February and will take place in London, but the exact venue is yet to be announced.
Also been announced is a 'special evening with longview'. March 25th is the date, London is the location again, but keep your eyes and ears open apparently for mor info from the official site...
