Welcome to Brian's Robotics Research Site!

I am currently a rising high school senior at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, South Carolina. This website exists to chronicle my progress as I work to complete an independent research project in the field of robotics that I began in June of 2005. The broad aim of this research project is to perform genuine research into the application of multi-robot systems and sensor fusion in the global humanitarian demining effort.

Meet BreadBot!
Keeping this website will help me to keep my findings organized and easily accessible and will ultimately assist me in writing a research paper at the conclusion of my research. It is also important to me to share my findings with the online robotics community as a way of giving back to a resource that has provided me with countless sources of information and inspiration.
I plan to submit my research project to various scholarship competitions this fall, including the Intel Science Talent Search and the Siemens Westinghouse Competition. A special thanks goes to all of the Contributors who have made this project a possibility.
