Yes they are.... yes they are!
Mr. Russert attempted to paint Dean as a hypocrite for hiring former lobbyists to work in his campaign. He also made an underhanded accusation that Dean, by refusing to releases his records while Governor of Vermont, was hiding some nefarious or otherwise crimial information.
Today's Meet the Press is notable because the same questions asked of Governor Dean have never been asked of former Governor Bush. Mr. Bush, regarded by some to be the President of the United States, has clearly been involved in starting a war based on intelligence he knew to be in error. He has also arranged for campaign contributors and corporate cronies to receive enormous tax breaks, no-bid government contracts, and at least on one occasion, has protected corporate cronies from federal prosecution (Kenneth Lay, former CEO of Enron).
Mr. Bush's administration has also been involved in at least one act of overt treason in that a member of his administration released the name of a CIA operative in order to discredit a vocal critic of the administration's rush to war in Iraq.
Mr. Russert should apologize for his actions, but more importantly, concerned Democrats, Liberals and Progressives should whip his ass if they see him
There were 3 major political assassinations during the 1960's. JFK, RFK, and MLK. No other group outside of the GOP benefitted in any way from the assassination of this group of great Murkans. The way I see it, you start with the Bay of Pigs - a right wing/GOP attempt to overthrow Castro. You have 3 assassinations, and you end up with the same people breaking into the Watergate. They hide for a while and then they come back and launch a series of illegal and immoral wars in Central and South America. They get caught, hide for a while, come back and essentially create a war in Iraq (1991) and again start a baseless war in central America (Panama). They get defeated, come back and steal the Murkan Presidential election, allow 9/11 to happen to insure public support of their invasions, and then launch a series of wars of choice with the intent being to build some Right Wing, neo-conservative, Pax Americana.
3 things are true if you believe my theory:
1. They always get caught in the end
2. They always come back stronger
3. They will do ANYTHING to insure the success of their plans.

Every year after Xmas, we have at least one present that goes missing. This year it was the Coldplay CD that someone bought for my wife. These items will never turn up, sucked into the vortex that follows me, eating that one item that I am aware of being missing.
It almost ended up being this cool flashlight/radio I got this year. It has a dynamo, solar panel and batteries. It is one of the coolest gadgets. It initially was lost, but I found it, and then of course, it fell of my dresser this morning and now has plastic rattling inside. Typical day in the life. I just hope that I am rewarded by the Panthers blowing out the Pats.
