WARNING!!! These are works of a Teenager!

The Prose

i figure that a writer, especially a poet, should only write about something he's felt.
i hate pretense- so for my own sake, i won't write some heroic poem about patriotism or death or whatever old people write about.
hell, but i know happiness, truth, beauty, love, youth, sadness...
so i guess
i'll write about the things i know
the things i see
and the things i feel in me.

adolescent work is not oversentimental or overbearing.
adolescent work is just too real.
blame the plethora of lovesongs and lamentations on teenagers.
heck, we deserve it.
