So why DO we watch? Justify yourself!

So what is it about the afternoon TV show that we all love?

I'm sure you're mates keeping asking you this, but now its time to give them a kosher reply, well other than the usual 'erm...'

Heres your first one:

really gorge boys
twisted story lines
no adults
to be difficult cos no one else watches it
bad acting but we like it
babies
evil characters ie trudy
styles we love and want to copy
getting a bit carried away here but anyway
salenes awful green dress
the ***** danni
the gorge guys
ladykiller bray
really cool gals ie amber
herbal gals ie tai san
evil trudy and ebony
cloe's grass skirt
patsy's sulky uperness
and the curly dog

I know I love the tribe because it is such an original show, specially with the hair and make-up.
It also has MWS in it.

I dunno how to describe it. Its something about the fact that it deals with the issues that all the other teen programmes do, but the setting just makes it so much more.. I dunno.

The reasons why I watch the tribe

Bray
Its the prefect world, all kids have dreamt of it at one time or another.
Better than the usual school teen program
It's funny, scary and sad all in one.
The cool make-up and hair do's, i could go on and on...

Series 1 was better (it's still good in series 2): because it dealt with the REAL problems you would face if civilisation as-we-know-it fell apart, and at the same time dealt with day-to-day stuff as well. Good fodder for the imagination and the characters are a good range.. and Amber was such a strong "feminist" female.. e.g. she denied herself Bray for ever so long, for the good of the "bigger picture" - what a good role model, and there are so few of those around these days... i find it more interesting when they have to "cope" with things (like Imminent Invasions), i get really involved working out the best solution for them...

Because - unlike most other shows aimed at this age group - you really DON'T know what's going to happen next! OK the dialogue gets a bit cheesy sometimes (whats written on the BB is often better!) but the plots are both wild and original. The characters are intrieging - and the guys are yummy!
To sum it up - watch to eye up Lex , Bray & Ryan and to find out what on earth is gonna happen next....
