The last of the three fertility festivals represents the preparation by animals and people for the warmer months ahead.  Beltane also marks the divine union of the God and Goddess, resulting in the Goddess becoming pregnant.
Sabbat Deities:  Flora, Diana, Artemis, Pan, Faunus and all other fertility-assocaited deities.
Colours:  green, white, pink and red.
Herbs:  almond, bluebells, daisy, hawthorn, lilac, marigold, primrose, roses and yellow cowslips.
Traditions:  the maypole, weaving, plaiting and the lighting of bonfires.
Altar Decorations:  hawthorn and other blossoms, ribbons, daisy chains, flowery crowns and decorated poles.
Magick:  fertility and sex magick.
