MA'AT
Goddess of truth, justice and universal order.  Depicted as a woman crowned with a feather.

MIN
A god of fertility, rain and agriculture.  The patron of travellers.

MONTU
"Nomad"  A god of war.

MUT
Mother goddess portrayed with the head of a vulture.

NEITH
Goddess of war and weaving.  Symbolises strength, love, the moon and courage.  She wears her symbols, the bow and crossed arrows, on her head.

NEPHTHYS
Goddess of death and mystery. Wife of Seth and sister to Isis.  Depicted as a woman crowned with the hieroglyphic of her name, which looks like a basket on a stand.

NUT
The goddess of the sky.

OSIRIS
God of death and the underworld, although he was also worshipped as a god of vegetation.  Depicted as a mummified figure wearing the crowns of Egypt.

PTAH
The creator god of Memphis.  God of craftsmen.  Depicted as a man with a bald head.

QEBSHENUF
One of the four sons of Horus.  He protected the intestines of the deceased.

RA (Re)
Sun god, the supreme deity and creator.  Depicted as a man with a falcon's head.

SEBEK (Sobek)
Crocodile god worshipped at Kom Ombo.

SEKHMET
"The Mighty One".  Lion headed goddess of war and destruction.

SERKET (Selket)
Scorpion goddess who protected from venomous bites and stings.

SETH
God of darkness, chaos, war, evil and storms.  Hailed as a source of strength and protection.

SHU
"The Dry One".  God of air and the sky.

TAWERET
"The Great One".  A popular goddess of childbirth.  Portrayed as a hippopotamus, she helps women in childbirth and wards off demons.

TEFNUT
Goddess of precipitation, moisture and clouds.

THOTH
God of wisdom and inventor of writing.  He was the patron of scribes and was represented by a man with the head of an ibis or baboon or by both of these animals.
