"Nina" 1992 Volvo 240
1st day Volvo owner. sometime around February of 1998, my parents bought me  a 1992 Volvo 240 with 90,000 miles at a local used car dealer. A safe and reliable car, expected to last me through university years. The car had been bought at an auto auction in Fredricksburg, VA. Still has the original dealer sticker on it.
Swedish mechanical perfection- Another proud Volvo owner, 7 years later in 2005.
Great source of info on Volvo and statistics.
Volvo, and the Jetta, my diesel daily driver I bought when I graduated college.  I can't complain about 36 MPG's
customizing
White Face Instrument Cluster

Installed these with no trouble,  Visibility is improved, plus it just looks cooler! Check out
Dave's Volvo 245 Wesbsite. He has tons of customizing for 240's. I also installed the tachometer.
Euro Side Turn Signals

Original to European 240's, these mount in the place of the "Volvo" Emblem on the front fenders, Found these on Ebay for around $40, easy to install in a few hours.
Electric Sunroof
Always wanted a sunroof in my car, love the the breeze and open air.
Saved up enough money to get this installed by Cutom Exteriors, works just like a power moonroof, with the click of a button, the glass slides halfway open, over top the car, giving it a little sportier look.
January 05 -

Just installed a cruise control
($100)  and replaced the bad speedo head with a new one. ?($250). Running great, but idle is too high on start-up when cold.

Euro Corner Turn Signals, and Euro License Plates

Found these online for about $20 each, replaced my fading, cracking, "americanzied" versions.

My first "Euro mod":
Purchased the Euro Plates from a guy on ebay, from Germany. $15, i'm sure they are easier to get and find nowadays.
