This is “me” in my “new” “Animal Mascot” Fursuit Character. His
name is “GEORGE WOLF”. “Fursuiting” is a
“new” interest/hobby of mine, based on the fact, that as an “adult” with “Asperger’s Syndrome/High-Functioning Autism”, I “still love to watch cartoons”, even at my chronological age
of 49 years old.
“GEORGE WOLF” was “named”, by one
of the children over at my church on Sunday, June 17, 2007, a little girl,
“adopted” from the East-European Country of Romania who goes to Sunday School
at my church.
I purchased this “Fursuit” from the local
“Costume Supplier”, www.costumesofnashua.com, located in the rear of the “Family Dollar” Discount Store
Shopping Plaza on NH Route 102 in Hudson, NH, not all that far from Salem, NH
where I live.
My “First Time” in my costume, was on Tuesday,
June 19, 2007, to “try it out”, and to “see” how long I could “stay in my
character”, “GEORGE WOLF”. The place where I
“first got into character”, was up at the Derry, NH CATV
“In-Town” Government/Public-Access Channel Studio, where I
“volunteer my time” as a Producer/Videographer/Cameraman/Post-Production
Editor. The Derry CTV Director/Coordinator, Mrs. Ellingwood “assisted” me in
dressing in my “new” Fursuit Costume for the 1st time. While in costume, I can not “reach back
around”, to “fasten/unfasten” the Velcro “closure” in the rear, to “encase” me
into my costume.
I was able to “stay in character” for 60
minutes,
My Fursuit “Character”. “GEORGE WOLF”, will make his “Official” “Charity
Event” Debut on Saturday, June 23, 2007, at the “Animal Rescue League” “Pet
Adoption Day”, held “Once a Month” at my church, the 1st
Congregational, United Church of Christ, in Pelham, NH. Later on in the day,
there is a “Pot Luck” Supper over at my church, where our congregation will be
“welcoming” our “new” Pastor and his wife & Children. Therefore, I will be
“in costume” for hours.
