Chatham

Known as "the first stop of the East Wind," Chatham's past and present are intertwined with the sea. Chatham (pop. 6,500) is a base of the US Weather Service and the famous Chatham Lighthouse. It also happens to be Thom's favorite town on the Cape and where he spent many summers as a young boy.
