NEW SITE OPENING TONIGHT!!!!!

We are now on our final arrangements to open our all new website at our all new domain thoranews.com !!!!! All sections except the galleries, which are still in the process of being moved (some galleries are already up, but not all), will be available from tonight on, and this is our last update on the old site, which will continue working, but will not be updated anymore. It all happens tonight, the hour is still undecided but it will probably be between 9:00 pm and midnight, so stay tuned and keep visiting us for your daily fix of Thora Birch news!!!!!!

Yes! Clips 11 and 12 from The Maze are now available!!!!!! Clip 12 is the final clip from our series of clips for Thora's episode in the tv show Night Visions. Clips 9 and 10 have been removed now and remember to please download 9 and 10 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you are interested because they will not going to be online forever.

On similar news, thora.org reported that Night Visions was picked up by the Sci Fi Channel, which will show all 13 episodes filmed, including THE MAZE!!!! Here's an extract from their update: "Another science-fiction series cast off by the broadcast networks has made its way to the Sci Fi Channel. The cable network has picked up all 13 episodes of "Night Visions," which ran briefly on FOX last summer, and will air them as part of its Friday lineup beginning June 14. The series, created by Dan Angel and Billy Brown ("The X-Files," "Goosebumps") and hosted by musician/actor/spoken-word artist Henry Rollins, is a "Twilight Zone" -like anthology of stories that deals in horror and the supernatural. Each hourlong episode features two stories. In addition to the shows that ran on FOX in 2001, three episodes that never made it to the airwaves will debut on Sci Fi. Two of those, featuring Thora Birch ("Ghost World" ) and Malcolm McDowell ("A Clockwork Orange" ), will be shown back-to-back and billed as a Sci Fi original movie. "Night Visions" also boasts appearances by Bridget Fonda, Bill Pullman, Samantha Mathis, Philip Baker Hall, Natasha Lyonne, Joshua Jackson and Sherilyn Fenn, along with many others. Joe Dante ("Gremlins" ) and Tobe Hooper ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" ) are among the directors of each installment."

Now in VERY EXCITING news regarding the site, we have now resolved our space issues meaning LOADS of images and some other cool stuff will be coming to your screen very soon, and that's because we now have a DOMAIN NAME along with lots more webspace enabling us to provide you with the latest on Thora without worrying about webspace as we used to. We have now started to move all the site to our new domain, but there's still some stuff to move so the new site is not working yet, of course we will be notifiying you when it starts working, meanwhile, we will keep you updated right here. Our new domain is thoranews.com !!!!!

We're BACK WITH THE NEWS!!!! First of all I would like to apologise for the lack of image additions lately but we have been going through a tough time regarding the lack of website space to add anymore images, but we are looking into it and as soon as we find a suitable solution, we will keep adding images to the site, please note that you may request new images by e-mail in the mean time if you want, please specify which pictures you want or if you just want any images.
On with the news, the UK DVD is actually very similar to the Canada DVD regarding special features, but it does have its differences, the UK DVD features interactive/animated menus in both English and French, subtitles in English, French and Dutch, audio tracks in Dolby Digital Surround 5.1 in both English and French, Widescreen presentation, Director's Commentary by Nick Hamm, Deleted Scenes, Theatrical Trailer, Teaser Trailer, Cast Filmographies and Audio Description (which is like a SCRIPT-TO-SCREEN thing but in audio, you are being read the script as you watch the film). The italian (region 2) DVD features theatrical trailer, deleted scenes, audio commentary and filmographies.
On other news, thora.org recently posted a Thank You note from Thora!!!! and A VERY INFORMATIVE and FUN transcript to her "Interview" magazine interview (hehe)!!! In it she actually mentions what she is currently working on, here's a quote:"I've actually got two things that I'm producing. One's a tele-film [Mata] and the other's a feature called Miss Meadows -- I'm in the beginning stages of that one." Isn't this great? Can't wait for those, I'm sure Thora will do a marvelous job as a producer.
Now you won't have to wait that much to see Thora on the screen, she is currently appearing on Moby's new music video for the song "We are all made out of stars"!!! You can watch the video now at mtv.com , where you will find a link right below the "Buzzworthy" section, you can also look for it on MTV, so stay tuned to MTV!!!! A curious fact: Christina Ricci, Thora's Now and Then co-star also appeared on a Moby music video :)
