More Best Buddies, Ghost World for 3 IMAs and The Hole Region 1 DVD: The Mystery UNCOVERED!!!!!!!

On Ghost World news, thora.org also announced that Ghost World is nominated for 3 Internet Movie Awards (IMAs)!!!!! The nominations are: Best Picture, Best Screenplay and BEST ACTRESS FOR THORA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can vote right now here!!!!!!!!
And to end today's news, we have finally uncovered the mystery regarding The Hole's Region 1 DVD release!!!!!!!!!! It turns out, the DVD, IS COMING OUT ON MARCH 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, only for the Canadian market (sorry US fans, you will have to wait a little longer). The DVD is being distributed by Seville Pictures, who also distributed the film on it's theater release in Canada, and according to the EBAY image (which you can see in a previous update) it is a SPECIAL DELUXE EDITION, so it is likely to have some cool features! You can pre-order the DVD at Archambault.ca, who offer it for $22.99, at CDPlus.com who offer it for $25.99 and at Chapters.Indigo.Ca , who offer it for $29.98 and who confirm the March 2002 release. Please have in mind that release dates are always subject to change and that the prices given above are in Canadian US dollars, even though not much information about the film is given on each of those pages yet, we know it is the right film because it either says "Suspense/Thriller" or something related, the year of release (it has the March 2002 release date in Chapters.Indigo.Ca for example) or it has the name of the distributor, Seville Pictures.

The Hole survives in Mexico, Thora's latest event, GHOST WORLD FOR AN OSCAR and Thora on TV!!!!!!!

I recently noticed that The Hole (Atrapados in Mexico), after being months away from not being in theaters anymore in Mexico, actually opened in a little known place in Mexico: "Uruapan", and it's currently in theaters there!!!!!!!!
On other news, Thora attended yesterday night February 11 the premiere of the Britney Spears flick "Crossroads".
On VERY EXCITING NEWS, Terry Zwigoff and Daniel Clowes, Ghost World writers, picked up a nomination for an Oscar (Academy Award) for Best Writing, Screenplay Based on Material Previously Produced or Published, it is up against A Beautiful Mind - Akiva Goldsman, In the Bedroom - Todd Field, Robert Festinger, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Frances Walsh, Philippa Boyens, Peter Jackson and Shrek - Ted Elliott (I), Terry Rossio, Joe Stillman, Roger S.H. Schulman.
Finally, thora.org recently reported that due to her family's friendship with Hugh Hefner, Thora appears briefly in A&E's special "Inside the Playboy Mansion" which will air on A&E on February 15th at 9pm, and February 16 at 1am. Thora's small interview clips begin about an hour and 15 minutes into the show for those of you who would rather not watch the entire program as reported by thora.org.

On Ghost World related news, Ain't it Cool News recently posted an interview with Thora related to the Ghost World DVD release and some other stuff, in the interview Thora confirms Dimension Films did pick up The Hole for distribution in the US, and talks about some other stuff! Go check out the interview!!!!!!!
On The Hole news, as weird as it seems The Hole is rumored to be released on DVD (REGION 1, US and Canada) and VHS as announced by thora.org. The rare thing is that only ebay is holding it for pre-ordering (you have to bid), no other US online DVD store like amazon.com, dvdexpress.com or Canadian online DVD store is holding it. Also, neither the Miramax website nor the Dimension Films website is saying anything about it when the release date (March 12 according to the ebay sale) is actually pretty near. The Hole Official Website remains without update as well, and, if you look for The Hole at filmratings.com, you don't find anything, which is pretty weird too because a movie usually already has a rating by now (by the time it's only about a month from now to be released), of course it could be released unrated but that's sort of unlikely. Even with all this mysteries, it could still be released, ebay even has an image (see it above) with the cover art for both the DVD and it even says "SPECIAL DELUXE EDITION"!
