GOOD CITIZENS USE BIRTH CONTROL: Birth control pills, condoms, hormone rings and implants, vasectomy and tubal ligation sterilization, and the “Morning After” fertilization prevention pill should be free and available to everyone. Birth control prevents abortion. Sterilization should be encouraged for parents. Teenagers should use birth control. USING BIRTH CONTROL IS GOOD HYGIENE. ALL RICH, ALL POOR, ALL IMMIGRANTS, SHOULD VOLUNTARILY STOP AT TWO KIDS: Decreasing population means higher Gross Domestic Product per capita: the fewer the people, the greater their share of wealth. With parents working jobs, it takes so much daycare and effort to raise kids today, two is all a family can afford to raise effectively. Two kids is Zero Population Growth. Three kids is Exponential Growth, an ecological disaster. Until 1800, world population was less than one billion. Population doubled in just 130 years to two billion by 1930. Population doubled again in just 40 years to four billion by 1970. Another two billion was added in just 30 years by 2000. AT OVER SEVEN BILLION TODAY, POPULATION CANNOT CONTINUE TO GROW ON A FINITE PLANET. Overpopulation causes freshwater shortages, cropland exhaustion, fish harvest shortages, air and water pollution, excessive wastewater and solid waste, ecosystem encroachment, species extinction, loss of biodiversity and habitat, global warming, disease epidemics, famine, economic stagnation, ecological refugees, housing shortages, sprawl, traffic gridlock and decreasing quality of life. Look at your job market, cost of living, oil and resources, price of rent and real estate. YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE IS COLLAPSING DUE TO OVERPOPULATION. Cities now suffer suburban sprawl run amok, intolerable traffic gridlock, insane housing prices and apartment rents, rampant gang crime, polluted air and water, public schools, public transit, public hospitals starved for funds, all the sprawl and squalor of Manila, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Mumbai, Calcutta, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Mexico City. Neverending swarm of cars and trucks. No solitude. No peace. The world needs every drop of freshwater, every acre of farmland: There is no sane reason why anyone would want humans to overpopulate and strip the planet bare like army ants. POPULATION GROWTH DECREASES ECONOMIC GROWTH: If the economy grows at 3% but population grows at 4%, that is actually a 1% DECREASE in Gross Domestic Product per capita. Look at China, India, Africa, South America, Muslim nations: Overpopulation is their biggest problem, because as their economy grows, their population grows just as fast, negating quality of life gains. Western Europe has the slowest population growth so Western Europeans enjoy the highest quality of life in the world. CAPITALIST MILLIONAIRES DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE: The goal of a capitalist is to exploit labor and resources to exhaustion to maximize return on investment, to profit from a boom, cash in before the bust, hide the cash in tax shelters and retire rich. EMPLOYERS WANT A GROWING POOL OF DESESPERADOS WILLING TO ACCEPT SLAVE WAGES. GLOBALIZATION AND TECHNOLOGY ARE RENDERING BILLIONS OF PEOPLE SUPERFLUOUS: Oversupply of labor does not create demand. Poverty breeds poverty. SUPPLY-SIDE ECONOMICS, REAGANOMICS, TRICKLE-DOWN THEORY, ALL ONE AND THE SAME: When capitalists, investors and owners control our economy absolutely, and ignore workers, consumers and the public, owners create a slave economy. SUPPLY-SIDE ECONOMICS LEADS BACK TO PLANTATION SLAVERY: GLOBALIZATION LEADS TO A GLOBAL SLAVE ECONOMY. STOP BASING OUR ECONOMY ON A PONZI PYRAMID SCHEME: Capitalism is a Ponzi Pyramid Scheme. Globalization is a Ponzi Pyramid Scheme. Many developing nations lack Social Security, forcing peasants to have many children to support parents, forcing a Ponzi Pyramid Scheme of forever increasing exponential population growth, forcing a grim Social Darwinist Rat Race to the bottom. Developing nations are stripping their ecosystems bare like army ants: Developing nations are fighting over fresh water. Africans are cutting down their jungles for firewood. South Americans are burning rainforests for living space. Pirate factory ships are overfishing vast ocean ecosystems. Billions of peasants live on top of each other in sprawling shanty favelas surrounding Manila, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Beijing, Mumbai, Calcutta, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Mexico City. Untreated raw human waste poisons rivers and lakes surrounding these mega-favelas. A TIDAL WAVE OF IMMIGRANTS LOWERS WAGES, RAISES RENT, FLOODS ECOSYSTEMS AND DECREASES YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE: It is time to limit immigration. The idea that we need millions of immigrants to “fill labor shortage” is propaganda to justify importing millions of desesperados willing to accept slave wages. IF THERE IS LABOR SHORTAGE, PAY HIGHER WAGES: Wages are set by the market price where supply meets demand. Historically there has almost never been labor shortage. The only substantial labor shortage was in Medieval Europe after the Bubonic Plague wiped out half the population, and it was solved by paying higher wages. Dr. Paul Ehrlich is Senior Professor of Population Studies at Stanford University. Ehrlich has been warning of overpopulation for four decades. In his 1990 book, THE POPULATION EXPLOSION, Ehrlich defines overpopulation not by population density but by Carrying Capacity, by the amount of resources required to sustain a population: “When is an area overpopulated? When its population cannot be maintained without rapidly depleting resources. By this standard, the entire planet and virtually every nation are already vastly overpopulated.” CARRYING CAPACITY HAS BEEN REACHED EVERYWHERE: Population cannot continue to grow forever on a finite planet with a finite amount of freshwater and resources. Technology cannot solve overpopulation. Technology does nothing to ease traffic gridlock or suburban sprawl across pristine land, ruining ecosystems, decreasing biodiversity, collapsing your quality of life. Study the United Nations World Contraceptive Usage Survey statistics: Shocking! ALMOST HALF THE WORLD USES NO BIRTH CONTROL. Even in America, 30% of couples don’t bother using birth control. There are many ways to have sex without risk of pregnancy, yet these couples choose traditional sex without birth control. These so-called "accidental" pregnancies are not accidents! Catholics and Muslims want huge families: ENCOURAGING HUGE FAMILIES IS A SOCIAL DARWINIST RAT RACE TO THE BOTTOM: Catholics want Catholics to dominate our gene pool. They assume God or government will accommodate them. Don't expect God or government to create jobs for your kids. There is nothing special about your genes.
