Sleeping Accommodation This building provides sleeping accommodation for 48 upstairs in 8 bedrooms and another 2 multipurpose rooms downstairs, that can be used as bedrooms when required. Main Hall The spaceous main hall is ideal for indoor activities and also for dining, with two serving hatches from the large kitchen. Kitchen The well appointed kitchen has two large indusrtial ovens with 6 Gas rings on each, microwave, kettles and two large sinks. All the pots, pans and utensils that you might expect are available as well as plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. The Ron Sibley room just off the Kitchen has a large fridge and chest freezer. Toilets The toilet facilities inside Alpha House are for your use only and include Disabled shower and toilet, Ladies shower and toilet and Gent's showers, urinals and toilet. Sleeping Accommodation This building provides sleeping accommodation for a total of 38 people. This is split between 4 smaller bedrooms sleeping 14 and a dormitory sleeping 24. Main Hall The long spaceous main hall is ideal for indoor activities and also for dining, with a serving hatch from the kitchen. Kitchen The well appointed kitchen has two large ovens with 5 Gas rings each, fridge, microwave, kettles and a large sink. All the pots, pans and utensils that you might expect are available as well as plates, bowls, cups and cutlery. The Utility room just across from the Kitchen has a fridge freezer, chest freezer and cleaning equipment. Toilets The toilet facilities inside the Hayvern are for your use only and consists of a single toilet (and urinal) that is intended for overnight use only. Alpha House This is our newest building, opened in 1992, and cost over £100,000 to build with volunteer labour. This impressive brick built 2 storey building, with central heating, is situated next to the main Car Park, with easy access for the Disabled. |
The Hayvern This building was the sites Millennium Project and re-opened in 2001 after a £30,000 refit. This single storey wooden building (now centrally heated and insulated) is situated next to Alpha House near the main Car Park, with access for the Disabled via ramps. |
