Director on Cast
James on Julie:  "Julie has the ability to look deep inside to the inner thoughts of the characters she plays.  She can go that extra mile when needed.  I have known Julie for only over a year, but I have seen such growth as an actress.  I am so honored to be a passenger on her artisitc ventures."
James on JeriAnne:  "JeriAnne has one of the most angelic voices I have heard in a long time.  Thanks for blessing the show with your presence on and offstage."
James on Katia:   "Katia brings a sophistication to her characters, that is very rarely seen on the stage."
James on Tim:  "Tim has great qualities that help make him a solid actor.  He is very well read and can use his resources to help mold a character."
James on Rebekah:  "What can anyone say about Rebekah that isn't great?  You brings such purity to your characters.  It has been fun to act by your side and backstage.  Thanks for bringing your easy adaptability to the show."
James on Tieara:  "One thing I have always admired about Tieara is the fact that she will continue a scene until the end and never mess up the flow.  She is truly a champion of stage presence."
James on Dawn:  "One thing I must say first is that Dawn, picked up two pieces from the show within the last week of rehearsals.  I am forever indebted to you.  Thanks for letting me transform you into three completely opposite characters.  Dawn you bring such glamour and prestige to the characters you portray...you seem to be an old pro in theatre."
James on Casey:  "Everyday at rehearsals Casey would amaze me.  Casey has the ability to physically transform himself into the characters.  His sincerity shines onstage."
James on Emily:  "This was the first time I had directed Emily.  Previously we had worked together with dance.  I am amazed by how openminded Emily is.  She will allow herself to be a blank canvas for any director or choreographer.  This freespirited nature is hard to find in many."
James on Colleen:  "Colleen brings such realism to her characters. Even when the characters are total opposites, Colleen can easily jump right aboard and go with the flow.  She can find a aspect of the character she can relate to and then begin the transformation."
James on Charmaine:  "Charamaine I knew I could count on you to give your all to each character as you do in dance.  Thanks for sharing your outstanding performances in Voices, Shakespeare can be a very difficult task but you accomplished it."
James on Edward:  "Edward you have the uncanny ability to make people feel at home and at ease.  Your compassion shows onstage thanks for playing the characters I gave you.  They were not easy to portray but you made them golden."
James on Tiffany:  "Tiffany for as long as we have known each other and I think that I know you...you always surprise me.  You truly embody a Phenomenal Women."
James on Porthouse:  "Ryan you can easily change from a 60 year angry old man to a genuine man in next to no time...what more could a director ask?  You have the ability to really jump into the character and understand goals and motivations."
note to whomever will read this...this was typed at about 5:00 a.m. following our last rehearsal.  Spelling adn grammar were not my first thought...
James on Erin:  "Erin brings innosence to her characters that make them seem more relatable.
James on Stephanie:  "Stephanie has such an energetic personality onstage it leaves the audience breathless."
James on Vera: "Vera has such a realistic approach to her characters that make them more human instead of more fictional."
James on Susie: " Susie has such a warm soul that it carries onstage.  It is a great quality to have.  She is so full of energy that helps her connect with the characters."
James on Shannon:  "Shannon is so open to new ideas.  She became the running crew without even realizing it.  What I am most proud of is how much Shannon would grow from one day to the next.  It was great."
