  • Receiving a Treatment Before Taking a Course

    If you are interested in taking a course but as yet have not personally experienced Reiki or Zen Shiatsu yourself, I recommend to receive a treatment before the course.

    In this way, you have a personal hands-on experience of the practice, you get a tangible feeling of what this technique is about, and also you have an idea of what you are going to learn.

    This also gives us a chance to meet in person, connect, and talk about any relevant personal issues or questions that you may have about the course itself.

    Reiki

  • A gentle laying-on-of-hands technique originating in Japan, using the concept of channeling for healing and personal transformation.
  • A powerful yet subtle way to harmonize the chakras (energy centers), the aura and the physical body.
  • Release of blockages in the body on various levels - physical, mental and emotional levels.
  • Treatments are done on the clothed body. There is no need for the removal of clothing.

    Zen Shiatsu

  • A gentle Japanese bodywork technique based on the ancient knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine and incorporating a holistic view of the body.
  • Holistic energizing treatments to harmonize body and mind through a soft intuitive bodywork technique.
  • Diagnosis is done by using Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge, the technique of Back and Hara Diagnosis (abdominal palpation) and intuition.
  • Balancing and harmonizing the body by working on the meridians (network of energy lines) and organs and also on the different physical structures (muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments, etc.).
  • Beneficial for:
    - general relaxation and stress-reduction; - general prevention of disease and imbalances;
    - treatment of specific problems - physical, mental and emotional;
    - harmonization of the whole body.

    Rocking

  • A gentle yet powerful technique of rocking the body at the calming fetal rhythm.
  • The constant and monotonous rocking and swaying of the body brings about the subtle release of tension and opening of blockages.
  • A unique tool that assistsd in connectng us to our inner core and centering body and mind, thus creating a state of clarity and well-being.

    Traditinal Chinese Medicine

  • Classic acupuncture and moxibustion for general health and specific problems.
  • A treatment technique based on the ancient knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, incorporating a holistic view of the body and attending to its physical, mental and emotional aspects.
  • The aim is to assist and guide the body to reach a state of balance and harmony by affecting the network of meridians (energy lines), organs and also the different physical structures (muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments, etc.).
  • Beneficial for:
    - general prevention of disease and imbalances;
    - treatment of specific disorders;

  • Diagnosis is done according to the theories of Yin-Yang and Five Elements, while using the four diagnostic techniques, including pulse and tongue diagnosis.
  • The technique includes the use of several therapeutic tools such as special thin needles, moxibustion (a warming technique using a special herb), guasha and cupping.
