Frank Cougar shows Oct05 Frank Cougar will be playing two Midlands dates towards the end of October '05, new material will be aired as well as some tracks from the Sons of Samuel Volcano CD. Old events + stuff The next club DiaboliquE event will be the Birmingham leg for A Hawk And A Hacksaw's European tour (as publicised in The Wire). This will run as Del Diaboloco, brought to you from club DiaboliquE Promotions: a fresh taste of the old. For those not familiar with the New Mexican-European-Moroccan two man one-man-band sea shanty antics of this duo, founder Jeremy was originally signed to Leicester based Pickled Egg Recordings until being recently snapped up by The Leaf Label. He played before in his solo incarnation for club DiaboliquE back in 2003 and he loved Birmingham so much he's coming back on June 5th. This show will feature Jeremy on accordion, vocals and percussion and Heather Trost on violin, glockenspiel and melodica. Support will be from Frank Cougar Inc/Sons of Samuel Volcano (effectively the launch for the SOS release on 3 Pin, May 30th), featuring tracks from the release plus new Frank Cougar Inc tracks along with an exclusive short film of Frank's adventures near his hometown, filmed and produced by 3 Pin Labs. 3 Pin's The Egg plant and Yin will be spinning a special selection of international flavours for the event. This will be a great show, book early to avoid disappointment! Special thanks to Kevin, Eddie, Red Martian and everyone else who came to the gig hosted by the Earthrid label on 26th May...a great show from all concerned (and we managed to educate the American Red Martian trio in UK grime!)

Thanks to everyone who came along to club DiaboliquE at the Kitchen on October 6th The live debut of DisinVectant went down a storm, & the support djs (Milwaukie from CCT Records and A Negative Kite) also did us proud...a great night from everyone, and also a massive thank you to Carya Amara and Zog Welinski's Day Off (Earthrid rec's) who played fantastic sets, despite the sound problems of the venue!
