The Names

Threnody: (thren oh dee) a song of mourning; a dirge. I took this monicker from a beautifully illustrated african american comic book character (shown far right). I thought the name was unique and equally as beautiful so I made it my own. Not that I'm depressed or anything, but the name just seems to fit me, I think, don't ask me though. And Dark Angel is a name that I created, I didn't Cop that from that stupid show or any other comics that are out there of the same title.

The Changes

Well I've recently noticed that my site has not been loading correctly, so I've taken the time out to update it. I've taken some self pics and posted them to help get attention to my site. I started this little site way back in 1997 when i was 16. So as of now I'm 24. Lost of things have changed, of course.
I'm now living back in San Diego, As of Oct. 2004. Its great being back amongst friends and having the opportunity to meet great new people.

My Influences

Art forms like: literature, music, theatre and photography, are all pretty influential. As a kid I really enjoyed science and math. Very scholastically competitive as a youth, i later tried to "re-invent" myself through adolescence. R&B, Hip-hop and some punk rock music became a part of the "Cody" experience. If life were a movie my soundtrack would be ecclectic. I love old movies like; Carmen Jones, The Wizard of Oz, To Kill a Mockingbird.
