A message from THS Booster Club Presidents: Happy New Year! December flew by quickly. I think parents were as ready for winter break as the students! The concession stand was successful! We have a very busy schedule for January and February. You’ll likely be contacted to volunteer! Although we sometimes dread those days we offered to volunteer, we end up having a good time. Spirit wear is available—don’t forget to wear those “black out” shirts!! Thanks to the Clothier’s for managing the spirit wear. What a great way to show your Trojan Pride! Have you all purchased the new winter program, Trojan Illustrated? Thanks to the parents and relatives who contributed to the Trojan Heroes. The program committee is still working on the possibility of a spring program. We would really like this to be accomplished this year. The coaches, assistants and students who are involved in spring sports have not had a program in the past. Let’s make this happen!!! After becoming more involved with the Booster Club and accepting the co-president position, Nialson and I have discussed how fortunate we are to be a part of THS! Have you ever thought how many volunteers, teachers, coaches, assistants, and students it takes for school activities? Coaches, teachers, and faculty are not only at school all day, but continue their support after hours as well. And don’t forget the janitors. They are always there before, during, and after events. Students have shown a lot of enthusiasm at the games so far. The semi-formal winter dance was a “sold-out” event. There have been great productions this year. Parents—THS is a great place to learn and grow together. See you at the next booster club meeting, January 26, 2004 at 6:30pm. It’s time to start with PROM plans!
