Heather
Pyke, Sir Princess Boo-Boo -
Year III Social Science at McMaster
University, Hamilton. Heather used to be Heather Fraser, but we are
happy to announce that she married Neal Pyke (Sir
Wildman) on 16 June 2001. Congratulations!
This relationship started way back when Heather was in Venturers, so we've
been tracking it for a while now. For pictures of the wedding, click
here. Heather was invested at Victoria Day Camp '98, and has been a Leader
with the 74th Hamilton
Colony. She served as Mate for 1998-99 and always seems really cold,
even in the summer. Heather was also a big help in organising the
Group
Camp in May, and worked on the executive committee for
Snow Moot 2001 as the Secretary and
administrator. This summer she is working as camp staff for Camp Kidaca - a day camp run by the City of Hamilton. Basically she gets
to go to water parks and conservation areas with the kids and gets paid
for it... She's also working at Hamilton Builder's Supply.
Why we call her "Princess Boo-Boo"
This is a two-parter. At first, Heather was called simply "Boo-boo" for her uncanny resemblance to the beloved Hanna-Barbarra character of Yogi and Boo-boo fame. On the canoe trip in '98 however, the moniker "Princess" was added due to her ability to get Wildman to do everything for her.
