In the morning, we got on the busses (busses at the Michoacan site were much more prompt than at the Morelos site.) We headed out to a small town where they tried to culture us a little more before letting us have fun! Just kidding... we stopped at a cathedral and convent that were quite beautiful, and I think everyone enjoyed stopping to take a look.
Here's a view from in front of the cathedral...
And this is the convent itself.
My friend James from Australia inside the convent.
This is a random view of the little town we were in...
After we explored this little town, we got back on the bus and drove to another little town (sorry - it was difficult to figure out exactly where we were, since everyone else spoke Spanish.) When we arrived, the bus stopped in the middle of town, and some people spoke to us in Spanish. After getting off the bus, we stood around for a bit listening to this mariachi band!
Finally, we arrived at our final destination for the day - this waterpark! It was kind of run down, and beside a large field that really smelled, but it was pretty relaxing. First, we ate lunch and played some sports (and who scored a goal in soccer against all of the Latin Americans? Yours truly - the CANADIAN!)
And here's a picture of our busload of people who went to the waterpark!
Eventually, we returned to the campsite... seen here.
