John Pedlar sets off on his bike on a prearranged journey. Some time later, his father finds John has forgotten something crucial to the journey. He decides to follow John in his car and catch him before he arrives at
his destination. His dad's car goes at 50 km per hour. John's bike goes at the number of kilometers per hour found if you take his dad's average car speed, add the amount of money in two bills with Lincoln's face on
them, and subtract the last two numbers of Mr. Saltsman's room. The time passed before his dad leaves to catch him is as much as two hockey periods.
How far will John have traveled before his father catches him?
