(Scene: Hardy Home. Joe, & Iola are on the couch.)

Joe:	6 more day's my love. I can't waite.
Iola:	I know. This is going to be great. I love you Joe Hardy.
Joe:	I love you, Iola Morton.
Iola:	I can not believe in 6 day's I am going to be Mrs. Joe Hardy.
Joe:	I know. I still can't get over the fact, you're still alive.
Iola:	I know. I wasn't sure if I was ever going to see you again. (They kiss. As they are kissing Frank, & Callie come in.)
Frank:	It looks like their busy.
Callie:	But I can't waite to tell them.
Frank:	I agree. (He clears his throat.) Hey you love birds. We got something to talk to you about.
Joe:	(Lifting his head.) Can't it waite?
Frank:	We were wondering what you thought of a double wedding?
Joe & Iola:	(Stopping & say together.) Double Wedding!!
Iola:	You popped the question?
Callie:	& I accepted. We were wondering if you would like to have a double wedding?
Iola:	(Joe, & Iola look at each other.) O.K. Sounds good to me.
Joe:	Me too. Does, Mom, & Dad know?
Fenton:	(Walking in the room with his wife.) We do now.
Frank:	Hi mom, Dad.
Fenton:	Hi son.
Laura:	Looks like we have a double wedding to care for now.
Iola:	We can go to the dress shop, & tell them we need to reorder your dress, to a Bridal gown, instead of a Maid of Honor. (Looking at the parents.) You think it would be all right if we were each other's Maid of Honor?
Fenton:	I don't see why not.
Frank:	We can stand in for each other also. (There is a knock on the door, & Frank answers. It's Nancy Drew.) Hey Nancy.
Nancy:	Hey Frank. Bride & Groom here?
Joe:	Which one?
Nancy:	Now I am confused. (Looking at Frank, & Callie.) You 2 are getting married too?
Callie:	Double Wedding.
Nancy:	O.K. I have to get another gift.
Iola:	You can come with us. Were going to get Callie's dress. We need to get yours too. If you still want to be a Bride's Maid.
Nancy:	I would be honored.
Iola:	Great. (Kissing Joe.) Be back later.
Joe:	See you later. (Kissing her back.)
Frank:	Bye. (They kiss.)

(Scene: Nancy's car.)

Nancy:	Wow come for 1 & end up with 2 weddings.
Iola:	A Double wedding.
Nancy:	Yep. Waite until Bess, & George find out.
Iola:	How are they doing?
Nancy:	They are doing great. Just one thing though, they don't know It's you Joe is marrying. I want to see their faces when they see you.
Callie:	You are mean.
Nancy:	Well I don't think they would have believed me.
Iola:	Are, they, & your Dad coming?
Nancy:	They are flying in tomorrow.
Iola:	Can't waite to see them.
Nancy:	They can't waite to see who the mystery woman is
Iola:	I am sure they can't. (They all laugh.)
Nancy:	(Adjusting her mirror.) Am I just paranoid, or has that car been following us, sense we left the house?
Iola:	I think your right. That's weird.
Callie:	Let's see what happens.

(They go further, & he is still following.)

Nancy:	Here is the bridal shop. Let's see what happens when we go in there?
Callie:	Good idea. (The girls went into the shop, & the car goes across the street.) I think he is going to watch us from across the street.
Nancy:	Well now I know I'm not paranoid. Why don't we call the boy's to follow us back.
Iola:	I will call. (She went to the phone.) Joe...Hi Honey. We have someone following us...Were at the bridal shop on Main...Yeah, He is across the street now, watching us...O.K. Love ya...Bye. (Looking at Nancy.) Joe, said he, & Frank will follow us back, & see what he wants.
Nancy:	(Wearing a beautiful pink old fashioned dress, with ruffles, & flowers.) Thank God. Maybe we can figure out what is going on.
Iola:	That is gorgeous.
Nancy:	Yeah, I thought you might like it.
Iola:	(To the clerk) We'll take it.
Clerk:	O.K. Sounds good to me. It is beautiful. Looks good on you too.
Nancy:	You ought to see Callie's. (Callie comes out, with a white, low cut dress, with spaghetti straps. And a shawl that goes around the shoulders.)
Iola:	That is beautiful.
Callie:	Thanks. Is the guys coming?
Iola:	They are on their way.
Callie:	Good. He's making me nervous.
Nancy:	Me too. Let's get out of these, before they get here.

(5 Minutes later, the guy's come in, & they hug their fiancés.)

Frank:	Is he still here?
Nancy:	He's the one in the blue car across the street.
Joe:	Why don't Iola, & I follow in the van, & Callie & Frank be with you Nancy, in your car.
Nancy:	That sounds good.
Frank:	He has only followed, & watched you?
Nancy:	Yeah, I have no idea what he wants either.
Joe:	Are you all ready to go?
Callie:	Yeah, let's go.

(Callie, Frank, & Nancy got into Nancy's car, & Joe, & Iola got in the van. They decided to stay a little behind.)

Joe:	I hope he don't try anything.
Iola:	I hope not either.

(All of a sudden, when they got out of reach of town the guy made his move. He went up next to Nancy's car, & started hitting her car.)

(Joe comes up behind the car, & hit it. The car went off to the side of the road, & Joe, & Nancy stopped. Joe got out of the van, along with Iola. They went up to the car, the guy looks like he is in a daze. Joe waves his hand up & down in front of his face.) Mr. hey

Iola:	Joe look. He's trying to run them off the road.
Joe:	Not for long. (Joe, started honking his horn, while Iola took down the license plate number. He was still hitting her car.) O.K. I am getting very irritated with this.
Iola:	Be careful honey.
Joe:	I will. We just need to get rid of this guy is all.
Mr. Guy:	(Coming out of his daze.) What happened?
Frank:	(The rest are out of the car, & came up to the car.) Why did you try to run us off the road?
Guy:	What...I don't know what you are talking about. Last I remember is being at my house, & next thing I know, this guy, (Pointing at Joe.) Is waving his hand in front of my face, & I am at the side of road, in my car. What happened?
Joe:	I don't know. But we tend to find out. He was in a trance when we come.
Frank:	I am sorry to do this to you pal, but we are going to have to take you to the police station.
Guy:	I understand. My name is Timothy Loyal.
Frank:	My name is Frank Hardy, (Pointing at each of the others.) This is my fiancé Callie Shaw, my brother Joe Hardy, his fiancé Iola Morton, & our friend Nancy Drew.
Timothy:	Nice to meet you. (Looking at Frank.) Did you say Joe, & Frank Hardy, & Nancy Drew? (Frank shook his head yes.) Wow, I have been keeping up with your cases. Nice to meet you.
Joe:	Nice to meet you. (Looking at his car.) Sorry about your car.
Timothy:	What's wrong with my car? (Looking shocked.)
Joe:	You tried to run them off the road, so I hit your car from behind, to get you to stop.
Timothy:	Oh, man. I am sorry.
Frank:	No harm done. Not much anyway.
Timothy:	I didn't realize what I was doing. No wonder you want to take me in.
Joe:	As long as we back you up, on being in a trance, their shouldn't be any charges made on you. We just need to get to the bottom of this.

(Later, at the police station.)

(Later, that evening, they got to Jerry's house. They went up & knocked on the door.)

Chief Mcginnis:	(Shaking each hand. Looking at Joe, & Iola.) I hear congratulations is in order. Congratulations Joe, & Iola.
Frank:	Were having a double wedding.
Chief:	Congrats Frank, & Callie.
Frank:	Thanks. That's not what we came down here for.
Chief:	Let me guess, case right before the wedding. (Shaking his head.) You 2. I swear.
Joe:	This guy here. His name is Timothy Loyal, he tried to run the girls off the road. But he was under a trance while doing it.
Chief:	Your not the first. Remember Danny, & Susan Dopler? (Joe, & Frank shake their head, in recognition.) Well, they were harassed right before their wedding as well. By someone in a trance. (Looking at his computer, he looks up the case file.) The man was Jerry, Sorel. (Looking at Timothy.) Sir are you divorced?
Timothy:	Yes, why? (Looking at him confused.)
Chief:	So was Jerry. There has to be something going on. Tell me what has been going on since the divorce. I am sorry, but we have to come up with something.
Timothy:	That's all right. Nothing much. I was depressed, I went to group sessions, for recently divorced people. That is the only thing different in my life.
Joe:	Can we go see this Jerry Sorel?
Chief:	Sure. We let him go for the same reason, that he was under a trance. So we had to let him go. (Writing his address, & name on a piece of paper.) Just let him know what is going on, I am sure he will help.
Joe:	Thanks. (Takes the paper, they said their good byes, & took off.)

Jerry:	(Coming up to the door.) May I help you?
Frank:	Yes, My name is Frank, & this is my fiancé Callie...

(At that he interrupted.)

Jerry:	Say no more. I know why you are here. Just hearing you're engaged. They're after you too. Aren't they?
Frank:	Yes sir. My brother, & his fiancé also. Joe, & Iola, & this is Nancy Drew, & Timothy Loyal. May we talk to you?
Jerry:	Of course. Come on in. Would you like some tea or something to drink?
Joe:	No thank you. We can't stay long. Were you in a support group after your divorce?
Jerry:	Yes. Simon's support group for the divorced. Why?
Timothy:	That's the same one I am in.
Joe:	Sir, did you remember ever waking up somewhere else, like you were in a trance?
Jerry:	Yeah, when I tried to kill Danny, & Susan Dopler, I woke up in jail. You too? (He asked Timothy.)
Timothy:	Yeah, but they took me to the side of the road, & I woke up still in my car, after trying to run the girls off the road.
Jerry:	Wow. It has to be someone in the group.
Frank:	That's what we gather, too. (Looking at the others.) We have to go. (Looking at Timothy.) Is there anywhere we can drop you off at?
Timothy:	At my house if you don't mind?
Frank:	O.K. (They said their good byes, & they were gone.)

(Later that evening at the Hardy home, everyone is at the table eating.)

Frank:	Dad is it O.K. if the girls stay here? We want to make sure they are safe.
Fenton:	Sure. We can put cots up in the spare room where Nancy is sleeping. No problem.
Joe:	Thanks. (Smiling at Iola.) If there is any problems, come see us, O.K? (Joe squeezes Iola's hand.)
Iola:	My protector. (Everyone laughs.)
Joe:	(After the laughter dies down.) I don't want to lose you again.
Iola:	I know. & I love you for it. (They kiss.)
Frank:	So when does the flight come in tomorrow?
Nancy:	At 10:00 in the morning.
Fenton:	Can't waite to see your Dad & Hannah again.
Nancy:	They can't waite to see you again either.

(The next morning, at the airport. Nancy, Frank, Callie, Joe, & Iola are waiting at the arrival gate.)

Nancy:	Hey, Iola, Won't you hide till after we say our hello's. I will wave you over, when we are ready for you.
Iola:	Sounds good. (Looking at the boy's) They don't know it is me that Joe is marrying, yet.
Joe:	O.K. I hope they take it all right. About shocked the heck out of me.
Iola:	I will be over there. (Give Joe a kiss. Looking at the worried look on his face.) Don't worry, what's going to happen at a crowded airport?
Joe:	Anything could happen. You bet I am going to worry. He is after us, & I want you to stay in my sight.
Iola:	O.K. Joe. (They kiss. Not noticing the plain had come in, George, Bess, Carson, & Hannah gets off the plain, & sees them.)
Carson:	Boy, I hope this is the girl that Joe is getting married to.
Nancy:	(Startled) Dad. Hi. (She goes up, & Hugs her father.) I wasn't expecting you all yet.
Carson:	I can tell. Are we going to meet the bride?
Iola:	(Stop kissing Joe.) Hi, Mr. Drew. Carson, George, Bess, & Hannah together: Iola.
Bess:	How? Are we seeing a ghost? We thought you were dead.
Iola:	Bess calm down. I was in the Witness Protection Program, all these years.
George:	(Nudging Joe.) So you decided to marry her right off the bat huh?
Joe:	You bet. Were not the only ones getting married. Frank, & Callie is too. We are having a double wedding.
Carson:	When was that decided?
Frank:	Yesterday. We are letting all our friends know, so they won't get surprised.
Bess:	Good Idea. Is it a surprise that Iola is one of the brides to everyone else?

(They get their bags, & go out to the van.)

Joe:	No, not really. It was a surprise she was still alive though. For all these years.
George:	I can imagine. Wow.
Nancy:	Guy's I think were being followed again. There is a guy that has been ducking in & out of car spaces.
Bess:	Nancy. (Then she sees him.) Leave it to Nancy, & The Hardy's to get a case right before a wedding.
Nancy:	It's not my fault. He is after the bride & groom. Some weirdo is training divorced men to kill bride & grooms.
Carson:	Oh, boy.
Frank:	Well, we will see what we can do. (Frank motions everyone to get in the van. & he hides. The man comes around, & doesn't see Frank. It seems he is in a trance as he come around frank comes around & attacks him. The others come out of the van.)
Callie:	Don't hurt him. He is under a trance, remember that.
Frank:	(Still holding him.) I won't. How do we get him out of this?
Iola:	Maybe before we get him out of this, we can get him to lead us to his boss. Frank: How?
Joe:	Let me try. (In a deep voice he said.) Go back to your boss. (He goes in the other direction.) It worked. I don't believe it worked.
Iola:	Well let's go after him.
Joe:	(They all go after him, but George, Bess, Hannah, & Carson.) Maybe you ought to stay...
Iola:	Don't even think it, Joe Hardy. We are a team now.
Joe:	(Still running.) O.k. I won't even try. (The man stop's & another man comes out, & pulls a gun out.)
Man:	Hold it right there.
Joe:	(They all stop.) What? What is going on here? (The man in a trance pulls out a gun.) We are in big trouble.
Frank:	I agree with you there. (All of a sudden, George, & Bess comes up behind the boss, & the other guy, & attacks.)
Boss:	What in the world?
Bess:	We followed, & decided to attack. You guys all right?
Joe:	Were fine. Thanks.
George:	Your welcome. (Looking at the boss.) What were you doing?
Boss:	I was divorced 3 years ago, & decided if I wasn't Happy, no one could be.
Joe:	Nothing could split me, & Iola up again. (Holding her hand, & facing her.) I love you, very much. I am glad you agreed to be my wife. (They kiss.)
Boss:	I am going to be sick. (The police took them away, & they went home.)

(The day of the wedding. They are at the reception, at the head table.)

Frank:	(Standing.) Well as Best man, I guess I better make a toast. (Looking at Joe, & Iola.) First off, Iola, I am very happy you are still alive, & that you are my Sister-in-law. Joe was very depressed, I see him now, & this is the best I have seen him since the accident. Praise God you are here, & my sister.
Iola:	Thank you.
Frank:	(To Callie.) Now to my beautiful wife. You made me a very happy man, when you agreed to be my wife. You are a wonderful woman, & I love you very much. Thank you.
Callie:	Thank you. I love you too. (They kiss.)
Joe:	(Stands.) I guess it is my turn now. First to Frank, & Callie. (Looking at them.) Callie, we may have our differences a lot, but you make Frank happy, & you are nice, so I am very proud to have you as my sister-in-law. Congrats, to the both of you. You are wonderful people.
Callie:	Thanks, I feel the same of you.
Joe:	(Looking at Iola.) Iola, when you disappeared, a piece of me disappeared with you. I love you very much. When you came back, that piece came back. & then when you agreed to be my wife, you made me the happiest man alive. When You came back, I made a promise to myself, I would never let you go again. I love you Iola Hardy, I always will.
Iola:	Oh, Joe. I love you too. (They kiss.)
