Lilo and Stitch for Playstation

You knew it just had to happen.  When Disney’s Lilo and Stitch made it to  the big screen, you knew that there would be a video game. It just seemed to be a natural. Well the wait is over and Lilo and Stitch for Playstation does a good job at carrying over the characters and feelings from the film. You get to play as the two main characters, the little girl Lilo or the alien Stitch.  As Lilo, you collect pineapples during your adventures and
photographs and can do “voodoo” against such vermin as rats, boars, man eating (or in this case girl eating plants), and funky porcupines.  There is also a cute “butt bounce” she can do to kill the bugs she encounters.
Stitch has his 4 arms full as well as he collects what looks like green glass mugs.  He can also use his “green breath” against his opponents and has a spinning attack that works really well for smashing what look like large clay water pots.Beware though of the red clay pots though, get to close and they explode and if you are too close, you will loose a life.Graphics are what you would expect from playstation and honestly I have no
trouble with that. Yeah there may be a few pixels here and there but it is the action and interacting with the games characters that counts. This would be a good game to take on a long trip and let the kids play it with
the PS1. Make sure that you have the car adapter with you.  This is a KID FRIENDLY game.

Stitch: Experiment 626 for Playstation 2

It could be called a prequel to motion picture, Lilo and Stitch, Stitch: Experiment 626 for Playstation 2 gives us a feeling of what could have or might have happened before the movie.  Plot in the game is simple, Stitch’s
creator and master, Jumba has Stitch (before he was known as Stitch, he was an experiment, number 626), has Stitch going to different worlds collecting DNA strands (though there are other powerups to get along the way.Stitch has 4 arms and he knows how to use them.  Be it climbing, which on certain surfaces, he doesvery well or shooting weapons, which he also does equally well.  There are what look like drum sticks that he collects that help power him up.Stitch is also pretty amazing in what he can do.  He can fire weapons, which
destroys things, but also reveals hidden DNA strands.  He can jump and double jump.  He can climb and hold on to certain surfaces. He also very Adept at using the jet pack and laser grapple, which is very neat to see him swinging back and forth.Graphics look.  Stitch is, well, Stitch. 4 arms and all.  When he does the “slo-mo”, the effect and sounds are very well done.  Sounds are neat too, especially the “squid-bot”. Veryfuturistic. There is plenty to get through from the bonus weapons including a “big gun” which has a striking resemblance to the BFG10K in Quake 2 and Quake 3 to Stitch’s enemies (solider, heavy solider and frogbot (yeah, a futuristic
looking frog). There was more than enough here to keep me going and based on how popular the movie is, the game should do quite good as well.  Is there a motion picture prequel to Lilo and Stitch in the works? Inquiring minds want to know….For more information, go to www.scea.com
